I’ve read your post quoting the report you’ve seen but to ask the question that’s been asked many times , how do you stop them? You don’t have passport checks from the the north to the mainland because it’s within the U.K. . It’s fine someone reporting that they don’t have free movement into the U.K. I can see that would be logical but unless we change legislation to check that movement I’m not sure how we stop it .

Look I will post again the mad Brexit plan any one born in the Isle of Ireland who has Irish citizenship can travel freely to the UK after the implementation period yet no other EU citizen without conditions could travel to the UK .....
Republic of Ireland people yes.....other EU countries no that's what was stated on This Week BBC1 last night .......
Free movement will stop apart from Ireland....

Yeah thanks for repeating that so I’ll post again , how do you stop it ? Like I’ve said I’m overseas so if there has been developments I’m unaware of then my apologies for missing them , I don’t mean announced as opinion on a tv show I just mean how we’ll stop it .

I’m not having a go joe I just want to know what we’re going to do to resolve this .

I imagine if this crass deal ever gets voted through highly unlikely- as it stands freedom of movement in the other EU countries will cease and a visa system will come into place with other rules of how much income they have to settle here etc I heard the figure only a £30,000 job - everything that people that voted Out did not vote for as that is blatantly unfair ... Control yes - but not unfair control one extreme to another ......
May will go down in history more hated than Thatcher as a Tory leader .....
She is costing this country a fortune on her deal.......
No one likes it remainers or Brexiteers....it's pure madness that may depose her - then a no deal may happen - I pointed out the opposition parties can only put amendments to her deal not big alternative as that has to be a parliamentary bill, and we are due to leave on the 29th of March

Yeah I can see that joe but the point we’ve been making in this thread and the specifically the Irish border thread is stopping what could be considered by some abuse of the border , you can have visa but it doesn’t square the Irish border circle . To reiterate the point we don’t check travellers from that north to the U.K. mainland unless it’s counter terrorism stops by CT/SB police officers so if a load of Romanians , Spaniards or whatever arrived legally in Dublin travel onward without restriction to Belfast then ferry it to Liverpool how do we check the visa ? That’s the issue . We currently can’t control worldwide immigration into the U.K. and they come through staffed ports of entry where they can be checked and challenged . It’s a great ignored issue of this because frankly it’s too hard to do .

How hard will it be to stop people from the EU when the visa system is in place - same difference - they did quote last night the stoppage of free movement is all that may has achieved, but Irish people would be ok eg because of the irish border etc its madness all round her bill will be defeated and then imo either a GE in the end or she will be outed in a vote of no confidence by her own party in a no confidence vote is the more likely - she is a walking disaster and oh by the way any country can veto our trade deals in the future as it is no set in law..... so the very first thing we should have had on the table was a trade deal has been rushed and is not law.......
As it stands we are better to remain than leave her deal is that bad for every voter in or out.......

So reading the bolded bit, Irish citizens will need to apply for settled status. That contradicts everything you have said in the last few pages. You clearly have no idea yourself what you are on about so it's unsurprising that no-one else has any idea either.
