I particularly like it when Brexiteers are divided on the use of the phrase crash out in relation to no deal. Some get offended by it, implying that it is project fear. Others proudly welcome the phrase, puffing their chests out and shouting about how they'd love us to crash out and stating what could possibly be so bad, when this nation has survived the turmoil of WW2 and come back stronger!

Rees Mogg appears to be back-tracking. Now saying they might get up to the 48 no confidence letters next month. Also saying that if they don't get rid of her now they will be stuck with May until the next election, scheduled for 2022.

Funny yes, accurate, no!

The 'deal' if that is what we can call May's abject surrender leaves us outside EU but with the EU still having substantial control and influence over our domestic affairs and destroys our ability to make bi lateral trade deals. In other words, it is not brexit and that is what the tv interviewee was referencng I believe. And rightly so.

Whatever your views are on brexit, May has changed course from 'Brexit means Brexit' to 'Brexit means Remain' and she is the most duplicitous, anti democratic excuse for a PM that this country has ever had.

She should be removed asap, replaced with someone who actually believes in the referendum outcome and, if necessary, we should leave without a deal.

Yes, he's the EU negotiator for Brexit, but he has no power to actually create the federal Europe he was talking about in the video Dan shared. He's angled for the top job in the EU before and didn't get it, quite probably because most member states don't agree with his vision. If our answer is to run away from such a powerless man, I'm beginning to see why the negotiations have gone so well.

Yes, they're so sneaky that they're doing what they said they would from the very off, and what was dismissed as project fear when predicted by remain voters. Lets face it Pete, you expected the EU to bow down before the great Albion and are upset that they haven't, and the only reason you believe they haven't is because they've pulled off some kind of [Poor language removed] Dastardly move to trick us.

Not really Bruce. This is our own establishment stitching us up. Brexit is over, it won’t happen. The Civil Service, Government and Multinationals appears to have won. Our votes count for nothing. As you’ve said many times on here, it doesn’t matter to me, nor might I add my children nor granddaughter. But I hope you all enjoy a world where your vote counts for nothing, as those ‘that know’ do exactly as they please........

they will wait until after the brexit deal vote in parliament, if there ever is one, then strike its there only chance as to many of there colleagues are more interested in keeping there jobs than doing what they think is correct, if they go to an election at the moment they will lose and they know it.

sadly pete you are correct , have been saying it would end up like this from near the morning after the result from the delaying tactics, talk about a second vote, project doom, ever weaker stance on brexit from ,brexit means brexit to checkers to whatever this bull is called, this bollocks will never get voted through and they know it,throw in a few new EU demands along the way just to make sure.
End up in limbo, no chance of a no deal , they havnt got balls for it, and a second vote somewhere along the line with a few crumbs thrown in by the EU to make it look good.
lots of brexit voters will say whats the point they dont listen anyway.
Labour will pick up a good few to give the Tories a good kicking.
then sadly we wait for a populist to use the apathy shown to the voters wishes to get into power.

Also if 50 letters + go in and she then wins a confidence vote -they cannot oust her for 12 months - if she gets hammered in the brexit vote in the commons that's when the letters will go in and then there will be a chance to get rid of Theresa Liar......
The Spanish are now kicking up so the deal will be dead in the water anyway over Gibraltar - the EU conveniently concentrated on stirring up the Irish border they forgot about the border to Gibraltar......

Did you think one vote out of 30 million made a difference anyway?

Bruce, if 29,999,999 other people felt the same way then there is no democratic process. So, to answer your question - yes, all votes are important and make a difference and you should always vote. In some countries, voting is mandatory - and rightly so.
Australia you get fined for not voting or spoiling your ballot paper also it tells them who is in their country
ATM my guess is in the UK we would not have a scooby doo if someone decided not to bother legally voting.......
