So carte blanche to lie then, they were just 'suggesting' an extra 350 mill for the nhs, if people choose to read what was advertised as a statement of fact as a statement of fact, I guess that's just the way it goes
The ironic thing is the Tories (no supporter by me by the way) have put that money in before we leave far more than the Labour last GE manefesto promised....
Yet they have starved other survives it was just an example of where EU subscriptions for membership could go as @Old Blue 2 keeps reminding blind Remoaners.........
Taking it literally was even as a brexitier I realised it was just a message of what a waste of money the EU really was......
As it was nearly all our contributions without the rebate which by the way they tell us how to spend those rebates .....
Also saying we have only had one vote the GE both main parties pledged to leave the EU 80 percent of the country on that mandate voted for them both....

could you provide me with some quotes pre-vote to qualify this statement young Joseph? Or is this mental gymnastics to defend what was a reprehensible campaign of lies?

I really do not understand the logic of the above.

Perhaps you could tell me the following: WHAT EXECUTIVE FUNCTION IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE TIME DID THE REMAIN CAMPAIGN AND THE LEAVE CAMPAIGN HAVE?

I'll answer that for you: NONE.

So they couldn't make any claim to being able to spend a single penny from treasury funds (apart from Cameron, that is, who spent £9.5 million of Treasury funds on those leaflets to every household in the UK).

So for you to say that the amount of £350 to the NHS was 'a statement of fact' is plain wrong. It appears you do not understand the term 'equivalent', which is the word I used in my post. It means equal to. And what was stated was that the gross amount of £350 million per week was the same amount required to build a new hospital. Equivalent amount. The same amount as. Do you not understand that?

And go look at the lies put out by Osbourne & Carney for starters. Or do you ignore those kind of things?

The ad was designed to imply something that was not accurate. It was intentionally misleading. Simple.

Are you joking? Seriously! Are you trying to take the piss???

How does it imply something that was not accurate? Stop throwing out glib comments, and start backing up what you say with hard facts.

If it costs £350 million to build an NHS hospital, what was misleading about it?

they call me the kidney dialysis machine...

The ad implies that the NHS will receive 350 million a week that would otherwise be spent on EU membership. I think that's misleading.
Farages UKIP ad with a long line of immigrants also implies something that is misleading.

Obviously, until the UK leaves the EU and we see what funding gets redirected to the NHS on a weekly basis, it's all just an opinion.

Edit - looking at the pic Bruce just posted, it seems that the bus ad was part of a campaign that was rather more direct than an implication.

What I have suggested isn't particularly difficult to comprehend, I would suggest you are being deliberately obtuse in an attempt to defend an dishonestly ran campaign. I have no idea why you are being so tribal about it, you can still believe in brexit and admit the campaign was a disgrace
