Well the Governments position was to Remain. And reading your post, I dont think you have actually read it.
Really- simple propaganda at its best Billy Liar would have been proud of that leaflet ........ oh and even with that they still lost £9 million down the pan of tax payers money.... and they have an electoral commission on the backs of both camps - hypocrisy at its worse......

This article says it all-

Read under neath that's not in bold Bruce or google it.......?.
No need I have there were more lies in that pamphlet than on one side of a bus.....
Both sides told lies - Remain had the civil servants pushing the propaganda well. Before the debate started all lies in that pamphlet........
We would have to leave the single market, and the customs union -
What are the EU not agreeing to the customs union over a country they show very interest in.....trade wise......

Oh dear Joseph.

I think most of the people that voted to leave didn’t bother reading the pamphlet. I don’t think they could be bothered to read anything, as their minds were already made up to leave due to their self focused, naive, narrow sighted bigoted opinions.

If they did bother to read then they would uncover an uncomfortable truth that would have exposed the leave campaign for what it was - a myriad of lies and bluster.

Long live the British empire lads!!!

FFS

I read it. I read most things. I made my mind up well before the vote, based on experience of doing business around the world. I am not self focussed, I am not naive, I have a very wide view of people, events, politics and history, I am not a bigot/racist/whatever.

I read and observed no end of lies from both sides. I observed the EU holding back plans that they intended to introduce and were inevitable.

I don’t want an Empire. I want a prosperous U.K. working with the rest of the world, I want a great place for my granddaughter to live.

Does this make me wrong?......

Of course it doesn’t really matter now does it. We will be presented with a fully diluted form of Brexit, where we are still in the Eu, which will be accepted by cretinous politicians as advised by their traitorous civil servants, in the hope that life just goes on. May will be toast but she doesn’t seem that bothered.....

No mate it doesn’t. Unfortunately there were an awful lot of people who voted leave without knowing anything at all about the impact it will have on our future. Maybe my words where a wee bit strong, but it does infuriate me that conversations I have had with many people who voted leave actually leave me speechless as to their ignorance of the facts on both sides of the debate.

Very dear to be a member of a polictical union .... @orly ......
Very very dear to be left out of a large trading bloc in this increasingly globalised world where the US, Russia, China and India will be the major powers in this century and probably the next one too.

Europe needs to stand together in the future. Any visionary can see that except the Brexiteers with blinkers on.

But hey ho, Brexit means the Empire Strikes Back.

We are going to be outside but still trading just no Polictical union.....
