Well actually I’m quite pleased about this. We already have the technical capability within the U.K., we already make full satellite systems and about 40% of the worlds small satellites and developed major portions of the EU system (satellites from SSTL in Guildford and Astrium in Stevenage and ground systems from Airbus in Portsmouth). The EU will not give contracts to U.K. space and tech businesses so we should just do it ourselves. So the sneering remainers need to find something different to sneer at, because we know we can do this......

Very likely we do have the expertise (are they allowed now), so unlike the NI border we most likely do have the technology for this one. However, it's time these things need to put together and not at least reinvent our very own space program... It's not Blue Peter, here is one we made earlier..
