Dont think the ECB/Germany bailed Greece, (and others) out with no strings attached mate.
Indeed, which is the criticism isn't it?

So could the USA, Canada and all sorts of countries who don’t belong to the Euro. Which bit of ‘we are not in the Euro’ do you not get......the Euro contains more than enough countries to look after itself, well certainly to look after Germany and France.....
You used it as a stick to beat the eu with. I just wondered what you wanted our government to do differently.
Go on.James O'Brien is part of the problem.
Go on.
Without a doubt, but that doesn't render the above comments invalid, does it?He misunderstands the reasons as to why so many people voted to leave.
For a lot of people, the status quo became unbearable. Any change, regardless of however destructive, would have made people sit up and listen.
He doesn't ever talk about that. He never discusses how austerity has ruined the lives of so many people.
He just talks about the economy.

lolBoth my parents voted leave and I think there is a far more simple reason, they distrust foreigners and the generations that mainly voted for that were raised on Alf Garnett and generally what we would class racism today throughout the media but back then was comedy. The thought of millions of Romanians and Bulgarians was too much to take and they wanted to go back to Britain being a closed off island. This might be a bit different to the reasons you got from doorstepping in mid Wales which presumably shouldn't have a lot of migrant workers but I think it rings mostly true for urban areas.
The problem is no one can admit this as it of course is frowned upon so it is like the people that say they will vote Labour/Lib Dem/Green and then put an X in the box for the Tory/UKIP candidate. I would respect the people who voted leave more if they could admit that financially this is going to be a disaster and the immigration reason is/or part of the reason why they did and continue to want a hard brexit. As far as I can see it can only be that OR they have a lot of money and think there is money to be made in a post EU Britain (higher interest rates perhaps?) OR they really want to say shove it to the younger generations and think it is funny.
Surely from your point of view the in campaign should have had an easier 'sell' in Wales due to the EU funds given to it due to the high unemployment and lack of UK investment? Just makes me think the austerity reason although is in the mix somewhere can't be the major factor else it is a case of cutting off the nose to spite the face.

He also states he will be alright jack after brexit - a total bigot just to get his show in the ratings -I turn him off on any subject tbh- he never lets any debate flow on any subject other than his own agenda on any subject.......He misunderstands the reasons as to why so many people voted to leave.

He states that as he’s being honest, he jokingly refers to himself as part of the liberal elite, as he’s done alright for himself and knows that he’s got enough behind him that Brexit won’t significantly affect his life.He also states he will be alright jack after brexit - a total bigot just to get his show in the ratings -I turn him off on any subject tbh- he never lets any debate flow on any subject other than his own agenda on any subject.......
