To be honest, I think our best bet is to drag it out long enough for nature to take its course.

My only concern with that mate is the natural vaccum that will present itself to the lunatic fringe on both sides. We are seeing it across Europe, (pretty sure you have posted along those lines) as it is.

Dancing with wolves now.

I was just poking fun at some of the older contributors to this thread tbh mate :)

Tis a worry nevertheless.

Well sure, there are lots of things that are a worry, the changing demographics of society is one of them. Children born today are very likely to live an average of 100 years, and society is in no way prepared for that. I know you're a whizz with pensions and that, but I think I'm right in saying that if those people want to retire on 50% their usual income, which is probably the norm for the boomer generation, then they'd need to work until they're 80.

I sort of agree, it’s natural course will see Parliament deadlocked imo. They’ll reject whatever May comes back with, lead by the Tory back benches, which leaves no deal, and I’m certain the house would also reject that option.

Which Leaves May with no option but to either call a GE and try and change her odds by increasing her majority, or putting the choice back to the electorate with a second vote, accept no deal, or stay in the EU. Given what happened when she tried the former last time, I’m not sure the Tories would be rushing to take that option. Albeit she’d probably step down (or be voted down) and they might take their chances with a new PM.

Either way it’s going to get messy imo.

A GE basically on In/Out. Will make for some strange bed follows that.

For the first time in this whole disaster Corbyn being Labour leader will help. There is no way the Tory party will risk a Corbyn government (along with either a soft Brexit or full remain).

Another ref it has to be...

And then it’s game on.

My intended joke about leave voters dying off was clearly too subtle/crap.

Some proper remoaners on here tonight. Lads get over it. We are leaving, the only debate is how we leave.

It’s easy to see the panic in the remoaners camp by the amount of insults aimed at the Leave voters. You know you are beaten when you have to resort to childish insults.

You don’t need to do it lads, some of you, obviously not all, are quite capable of putting an argument together without personal offence or insults.

It has been a recurring and increasing theme for remoaners lately to attack the man and not the ball, I think you are better than that, maybe you are not, but perhaps it’s time to prove it.......
