I have no problem with paying for something we said we would pay for and it is stupid of Rabb to talk about the divorce settlement as if we shouldn’t pay it, unless of course that is what was agreed or understood when the number was arrived at. But Joey does have a good point in that all and sundry now seem to be agreeing some form of Trade agreements while the EU is still trying to screw the U.K.. I only hope that seeing how the EU reacted to Trump once he threatened the German car industry will help put some backbone into our own leaders....
SHOULD WE STEAL A SKODA FACTORY?

Do you think 5 people out of 17.4 million is a good sample size Pete? You do realise that the polls looked at trends, so whilst amazingly not every single UKIP supporter voted to leave, the vast majority did. That gives you a basis to try and understand the vote a little, even if the minority of UKIP supporters who voted to remain are not represented by that narrative.

We’ve done this Bruce, and I think you know my opinion of small polls trying to determine the absolute breakdown of a 33 Million vote in order to classify (insult) the electorate. If we used the same size poll from GOT, see above, you will see that 64% voted Remain and 36% voted Leave, but of course that is not how it turned out. It is good to know however that 64% of GOT are probably young graduates while 36% are old uneducated racists.......

I'm fairly sure that most of the samples used to construct polls are more representative of the population than membership of GOT. I presume you concur that understanding the electorate is valuable, and so what do you propose as an alternative, given that you don't appear to like the conclusions drawn by existing methods? When you were conducting the research for the theses in your various degrees for instance, what research methods did you use that were any different/more reliable to those used by professional research agencies?

Well is it not amazing the EU can offer yet another country a trade deal without the four freedoms yet want blood out of the UK .......
It really shows they are bully boys - Canada , Japan, now the USA all trade deals on goods with no fees no fouir freedoms.....
Hypocrisy at its worse - what Trump did not say is how long the deal may take , and Brandy soaked Jean-Claude Juncker how long he will get the other 26 countries to agree on it - this farce of an organisation needs replacing into somethin that is workable back to the common Market days which i voted for =Trade only.......

So USA Canada and Japan have caved into bully boy tactics.... I don't think so. All that is being played out is the advantages of being in trade block, and the bigger you are the more advantageous it is, simple economic logic.

They have not signed up to the FOR divine PRINCIPLES of the EU = double stands v the UK............

Think you are getting the sense of power the EU can weild, hence the importance of being part of the EU. Big developed countries or trade blocks tend to get their own way in such matters, it's nothing new, wont be the first time or the last.

Excuse me we are the 6th biggest economy in the world so that argument bites the dust.........
