Frightened of? We’re already independent Pete, so the premise is moot.

When we achieve this supposed ‘taking back of control’ which EU ruling that impinges on your personal ‘freedom’ are you most looking forward to us sacking off? Which one is top of the list? (I assume that it’s a long list as well, given that it’s apprarently the prime reason for leaving amongst the Brexiteers).

I’m not referring to the customs union either, I’m asking about things that negatively affect people’s day to day lives, that will see their lot improved once we leave.

So no answer again then.....

Let me try again then ......what frightens you about not being a member of the EU ?......

Frightens is the wrong word for me. Concerns more than anything.

A few things really. The fact that no one can agree on what and why we actually voted for, as evidenced by the utter lack of meaningful progress and the Hard/Soft version of leaving.

The main protagonists on the Leave side, the public ones I mean, inhabit a world and view of the world I simply do not like. The sort of society they seem to "aspire" to want, isnt one I share. The way they hoodwinked a lot of people with lies and falsehoods again, concerns me.

The irritating but largely harmless parts of the EU were seen as somehow more important than the trading bloc that we left. Or will leave.

It may well all turn out fine and dandy, but certainly in the short term, there is confusion and concern in industry, which isnt great, and as ever, any collateral damage will be felt hardest by the folk who can bear it the least.

Finally, it was not remotely thought through.

Look at the Remainers stinking main protagonist Blair , Camblot, Helsitine, farmer land owner, Vince cablot who did not hesitate to undersellour post office off cheaply, the big corporate CBi who get a grant off the EUi etc etc - stinking rich - rich........
not many socialist among that lot.....

the main organisations, individuals who want to remain are the rich..... mainly...
project fear is of their making.....

Couldnt care less mate. I made/make my judgement on the EU from my own observations. I generally ignore pro or anti "news" and commentators as they are all there to push their own agendas.

Thought it was a daft idea from day one. And I reckon a lot of people who voted Leave will find the end result as pretty far away from the ludicrous vision painted by some.

And there is nothing they can do about it. And there is no point in moaning about it neither. We were never asked what we wanted the final picture to look like.

The daft idea happened, and out democratically won passed by our parliment on how the voting paper was going to be set up voted in by 6-1 by our MPs .......
they were so confident they would win easily.........

you're on fire here Joey!
I have always voted Labour , but any Labour or socialist who thinks the EU is for them if they realised the cost the dodgy accounts, and the grants we get do they realise it's our money in the first place?.........
They tell us how to spend it sometime well ... sometimes a waste of funds......
we can vote our MPs out here over there major decisions are made by the EU commision - not the MEPs who we elect they get 2 minutes to argue a case its a bureaucratic costly nightmare , and not just the UK are waking up to this fact.....

Correct. Thanks for that.

And by extension, everyone who voted out must accept the resulting picture that will be negotiated by our democratic representatives. Making our own rules and all that.
