Avoid incoming money laundering regulation; remove worker's protections and rights; evade environmental obligations/lower standards.
they couldn't lower standards as they would. be linked to the EU set standard
as for workers rights and the EU, look up the posted workers directive then tell me they are looking after the workers interest.
we have been in it for decades and i havnt seen any improvement
in workers rights , job security ect, in fact quite the reverse.
money laundering , sad!y if we close one door to it they find another way to do it, doesn't think there's a country on the planet that has stopped it i. or out of the EU

So you think cheating is okay and it just cancels out because of some sort of magic formula you have in your head?

I really am amazed at the lack of understanding displayed by some in this thread, when certain topics are gone over, again and again and again. Or alternatively, the continued piss-taking in order to support their personal point of view.

1. It is claimed that the Leave campaign exceeded its budget.
2. It is a fact that Cameron used £9,5 million of taxpayers money to promote the Remain campaign. That is clear on every page of the booklet sent to every household in Great Britain (and yes, I still have the booklet).

If the one is to be challenged regarding funding, then the other should also be under the same scrutiny. Get it now?

Old Blue 2. Lets just look at the opening lines on the 'Cameron leaflet'. In very large letters it said:

'Why the Government believes that voting to remain in the European Union is the best decision for the UK'.

(Sorry I haven't a typeface large enough)

I get that at least one of us is a daft pillock at times, yes.
Anyway, I believe we are back to where I stated :

Nobody was defending that, and it invalidates the vote further.

And as PM, Cameron was the voice of the Government. It was put out on his say-so. The PM should have stayed neutral in the matter, as should 'The Government'. Only one side of the debate is shown in that leaflet, which is plainly wrong. AND, taxpayers money was used to state only one side of the argument. Had it shown both sides, then there would have been some justification in it being issued. But it didn't. It championed the cause of Remain. Period.

I'm fairly certain that Brexit will happen, but it's not going to be as 'extreme' as the loud minority would have liked.

Common sense will prevail.

If the whole country had got behind Brexit we would have had the power to get a good deal. Any second-rate compromise deal, as a result of 'remoaners' working against the democratic vote of the country, can hardly be called 'common sense'.
