I have done and it simply doesn’t as since that was written the Govts own economic forecasts have concluded that Brexit will cost our economy , nor does it back your assertion that we were predicted to go bust.....

It depends who writes the forecasts. In the press today, that Morgan woman is lobbying for the Treasury and the Bank of England to produce a report on the effects of Brexit on the economy. That's like asking a Liverpool fan to produce a report on who he thinks the best football club are. Project fear is alive and well.

So the Govts own analysis and fiscal study on the impact of Brexit, which has all of the outcomes having a negative impact over a 15 year period, are all dismissed as ‘project fear’ despite them coming from the Govt who are committed to delivering Brexit?

At what point will you lot actually concede to reality? I appreciate it’s a big climb down to accept that you’ve been sold a pup and face that reality, but at some point it’ll surely dawn?

So, Cameron did get his mate Obama to say ‘back of the queue’. Yet the Remainers still try to claim that it was Leave manipulating the result via lies and Russian backing (as yet totally unproven) as opposed to lies and American backing (now actually admitted).......I raise this not as a way to derive ‘I told you so’ pleasure but merely to point out that both sides were as bad as each other, in all respects.......

I'd have rather him stay out of it.

Can we talk about the real issues at hand a bit though? I'm an ardent socialist, but even I understand that reckless decisions from government have real economic consequences for the poorest of people - regardless of however well intended those decisions are.

I too am a Labour voter 60% of Labour constituencies voted out - If we are leaving the polictical parties should be aiming for the best deal on leaving the EU - the infighting and bickering from all sides has not helped - 2 years on and we have not got that far - the EU have dominated the negotiations agenda - that's been the main problem imo - as soon as we came up with the massive divorce bill a good negotiator on the UK's side should have used it for a trade deal way back then that would have speeded things up and stopped uncertainty.........
