To me the can has been kicked down the road as everything is hypothetical dealing with the stagnation of the present negotiations dictated by the EU - Even Labours ideas would be rejected and they have more positions on the EU than the Kama Sutra, the Blairites of the party are in favour of Remain, or like some Tories want to stop Brexit completely - While Corbyn just wants the government to fall or struggle not effective Opposition........

Well we will be leaving mate, which is what you want.

So why moan?

UK seems (although it changes daily) to want something it knows it can't have.If you want tariff free trading you can't have immigration controls.see Norway/Switzerland

The third phase of the Brexit negotiations (unplanned by the EU elite in Brussels) is yet to come. That's when all the countries in the EU realise how much their trade with the UK is at risk. So far, the unelected elite in Brussels are only concerned about 'the EU project', they couldn't care less about the effect on individual countries. Some of these countries are already getting very edgy about how things are going. The Brussels elite think they are unaccountable (as well as being unelected), they are going to have a massive wake-up call.

We need a good Brexit - A good trade deal - this is what should have been agreed not the remainers trying to reverse Brexit in an unelected chamber - to think Labour wheeled a MP in a wheel chair on morphine - showed it was an opposition trying to take advantage.....
I stated from the off the negotiations should have been conducted by Conservitive/ Labour Brexiteirs to put the awkward stance the Eu have negotiated so far....

Forget about them Pete. We're leaving them, like you want. Maybe focus your attention on the government or you run the risk of making my point for me.

You’re right. I shall now turn all my posts on this subject onto making Brexit a success. But I might have a go at Germany every now and again.....

Don’t be silly. The U.K. will be the EU’s largest trading partner, with a massive trade credit to boot. Of course we can sort out a trade deal without immigration requirements. The EU just has to get past the trying to make us fail scenario....

Indeed, when Trump responds to the EU’s reciprocal tariff response by putting another couple of hundred Billion onto tariffs, they will wake up. When they realise what it would cost them by doing the same to the U.K. they will be driven by Germany and France to be sensible........

Surely trading worldwide on our tarrifs and not the EU tarrifs negotiated with the WTO for us is far more beneficial for us apart from 9 billion if a sensible foreign aid budget was also put in place - we could fund the NHS and social care budgets in the future- the Tories are talking about everyone paying NI even after you have maximum NI contributions that's a big vote loser imo only if we had a decent opposition leader........

Hahahaha......I see Germany is trying to cut a deal with the USA over dropping tariffs on cars. Merkel is attempting to ensure that her key industry doesn’t get involved in any trade war. I said that the exact same thing will happen during Brexit negotiations and this tends to show that when it comes to the crunch, Germany will break ranks and do what’s best for itself......

Ah, the beginning of reality starting to bite.

We can replace the EU trade GDP with "our own deals", and the cash we pay to the EU/Foreign Aid will right all the wrongs in the NHS/Social Care.

Without UK citizens paying for it.

Brilliant.

So, without a vote, the Lords have approved the Brexit Bill. Maybe now the Remainers will shut up and allow our negotiators to get on with their job.......

This must not be forgotten though, and reform of the Lords should be a key part of the next governments manifesto....

No mate. You are missing the point, UK/EU trade will continue and the only issue is what tariffs or not are put upon it. If it is free trade then we carry on as before but add additional RoW trade to our GDP that we develop. If we don’t get a free trade agreement with the EU then tariffs are applied both ways and the EU effectively subsidises the U.K. for the pleasure, due to the trade imbalance.

In terms of the NHS, the money we used to send to the EU plus additional revenues from Taxation will pay to improve the NHS. Of course if you don’t want to pay for the NHS then just say so.......either way the U.K. benefits.....

With respect mate. If. If. If.
