Eggs, you are right to worry, but there was worry with the old system. Give the decision time to settle and I am sure you will see benefits.

For me I look at it that, whilst some things may not be positive for me personally...it will be positive for others and I will benefit in ways.

Young people with the right attitude should prosper, just the same as when we were in. Be positive and I hope Brexit will result in opportunities for our youngsters. We need to push opportunities towards training and jobs so that the young'uns grasp life opportunities and then drive the country forward. There will always be people who don't take those opportunities, but others will and Europe will still require our talented youngsters.

Massive decision today, lets give it a chance to flourish.

By the way I will be in the Litherland Retirement Home if you wish to eject me in 20 years time

Feel a bit sorry for Corbyn tbh, he can't do anything right. 30 years as a 'conviction politician' on the back benches, when no one cared - lightening strikes and he gets the opportunity to lay down his convictions when it really matters, and he meekly rolls it up to the keeper. If he'd been true to himself and said leave, he'd now be sitting on massive political capital and will to take on the Tories.
Think he could never associate himself with farage/gove etc

It's almost as if it was all lies......

Everything in the campaign, on both sides, was lies and rubbish. The entire campaign was vile and a dark chapter in our recent political history. The Leave campaign had no argument on economics (and actually gave up there) but the Remain campaign tried to scare us on every issue going and rarely concentrated on any positive aspects of EU membership or even saying vote Remain and we go back to the EU to seek further reforms on how it is governed and financed. Cameron, a man I despise with a passion that is probably unhealthy, kept telling us that the 'reforms' he achieved were wonderful when no one believed him and senior Eurocrats in Brussels were sniggering at him.

...my real fear is for areas like ours, especially young people who work hard at school but will have little or no opportuniy. I'm sure Brexit will be good news for those in power who will look after their own.

I didn't realise that Merseyside had done so well with the UK being in the EU. Those in power at the moment didn't support Brexit. Those who do best are the out of touch, unaccountable Eurocrats on fat salaries, pensions and expenses who consider themselves untouchable and stubbornly refuse to reform themselves.

For me this is the entire issue.

How were the public supposed to vote and make an informed choice when the campaigns were simply slanging matches?

A public school bunfight between a current Tory party leader and potential leader who clearly hate the sight of each other.
