So mass immigration is a positive for the UK? At a rate of 300,000 per year coming into the country

The point I'm making is that 'dangerous bums' and immigration have been issues in the UK for a lot longer than the lifetime of the EU. People expecting these issues to disappear should we leave the EU are fantasists.

Its not always about muslims, the biggest issue is the influx of Eastern Europeans, I lost my last job due to a migrant, so it affects me on a personal level.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your last job, and respect your right to vote whichever way you want. I just hope with all my heart you're on the losing side this time.

over the pen issue -
Social media users are warning EU referendum voters to bring their own pens to polling booths on Thursday over fears that pencil marks on ballots could be compromised.

While pencils are traditionally provided by electoral staff inside each booth, it is not a legal obligation to use them.

Ballots with an 'X' marked in pen or pencil will be accepted and counted.

Im going to vote leave, the immigration issue in this country has reached an alarming level, hopefully we can still save whats left of the British values before it gets to bad.

Don't we have more Immigration from outside the EU .

EDIT: made a humorous post without seeing your additional post mate , my apology and no offence attended . Hopefully things are/will work out .

And if you vote leave I potentially lose my earning potential, my property and country of residence... It affects a lot of us on a personal level. At least you got to vote about it, ffs.

And thats the issue, you have a perception that people who vote leave are some kind of freaky bigots who only want England for the English, I support migration, its helped mould the country and its been very helpful over the years, im not against migration, im against some clown in Brussels telling US who and how many people we can allow in our country and forcing people onto us.

Just voted. (Polling station in my local pub, so win win)

Went Remain, but with no real conviction, but based on my weird market research doing my deliveries these last few weeks. Chatted to tons, rich and poor, ill health, old and young. Business owners, the lot.

By a considerable margin, the folk who wanted out were a lot more unpleasant basically. One vigourous "Outer" swung it firmly for me; the line when I said that a lot of the more deprived areas might prefer to stay, (EU funding etc), "Well its about time that the places that raise the money should have a bigger portion back" made me ponder.

Lob in Farage, Boris, et al....

Scientific? No. More informative than the rubbish flung about the media? Certainly.

edit. Note, this was real world. Not casting anyone in here as "unpleasant" or anything. just the

It's this sort of extreme, hyperbolic statement that pushes folk toward leave. Expecting it to disappear? Why would anyone think that? It could reduce it though. Which is something one might hope for.

The leave campaign have always marked the leavers as always wanting/expecting the absolute extreme of events. It's just simply not true.

Reminds me of that old Harry Enfield sketch. 'Is that what you want? Cos they're what'll happen!'. Leave folk simply do not expect the moon on a stick. It's nonsense.
