The point I'm making is that 'dangerous bums' and immigration have been issues in the UK for a lot longer than the lifetime of the EU. People expecting these issues to disappear should we leave the EU are fantasists.
It's this sort of extreme, hyperbolic statement that pushes folk toward leave. Expecting it to disappear? Why would anyone think that? It could reduce it though. Which is something one might hope for.

The leave campaign have always marked the leavers as always wanting/expecting the absolute extreme of events. It's just simply not true.

Reminds me of that old Harry Enfield sketch. 'Is that what you want? Cos that's what'll happen!'. Leave folk simply do not expect the moon on a stick. It's nonsense.

Its not always about muslims, the biggest issue is the influx of Eastern Europeans, I lost my last job due to a migrant, so it affects me on a personal level.
Sorry you lost your job but it isn't about you and the migrant. It's about your boss seeing an opportunity to employ cheaper labour. We should standing together against greedy bosses, demanding fair wages for all- regardless of their ethnicity. The Blame for austerity seems to have conveniently been moved from corporate banking greed to migrants, the unemployed, poor people generally

A banker a migrant and a worker are sitting round a table. There are ten biscuits on the table. The banker takes nine biscuits and says to the worker "Watch that migrant, he's trying to steal your biscuit"

And thats the issue, you have a perception that people who vote leave are some kind of freaky bigots who only want England for the English, I support migration, its helped mould the country and its been very helpful over the years, im not against migration, im against some clown in Brussels telling US who and how many people we can allow in our country and forcing people onto us.

How do you know what my perception of people who vote leave is? I voted leave.

funny daily mail article about them using pencils for the votes, they suggest in the headline that it's done so they can be erased and changed... the comments section is gold, so many simpletons crying conspiracy blissfully ignorant to the fact that pencils are used due to them being more resistant to water than ink and have been used for as long as i can remember !

The whole campaign from both sides has been a total disgrace. In reality nobody has a clue what will happen should we leave.

Why the frig would they bother altering them? They'd just throw them away!

I just can't understand why so many people are afraid of change?
Not wanting to leave the EU and being afraid of change are far from the same thing.

It's the same internal logic as saying you're afraid of change because you don't want someone to burn your house to the ground.

True. But the vast majority of experts of almost every stripe - who while they won't know exactly, will have a better idea than your average Joe Bloggs, almost unanimously favour staying in.

Plus Trump thinks we should leave - good enough reason for me to vote Remain, even if I was otherwise completely split.

Im honestly still unsure which way to vote, currently not voting at all is winning inside my head.

Just been to my mars, she voted remain and her partner is voting leave, so they were no help, I even asked chico which way to vote, but he said something about burgers.

I didnt lose my job due to a migrant, the company went bankrupt, but prior to that happening they did employ an Eastern European on much less wages than the rest doing the same job, he was a lovely fella, lived in a 2 bedroom flat with 9 other people, shocked me that, so forgive my white lie about my job loss it was done cos I still dont know which way to vote so was trying to put myself into the leave camp.

It helped a little, the leave camp seems a dark and dangerous place, so if I do go and vote it will probably be to remain, better the devil you know and all that, the only danger will be the EU taking the pee out of us due to them thinking they are doing a good job, but Europe is goosed anyway, the upcoming World War will change everything shortly.
