Welcome back Wayne
You guys are like broken records....
- It's the EU's fault
- It's Ireland's fault
- Ireland should be grateful for when we helped them. Ridiculous low blow from you to suggest Ireland should play along because a fellow EU member helped them out at one time . Absolutely arrogant British attitude right there.
- Ireland is being used by the EU
- We were going to leave it the same no issue here....
As for the highlighted yes there would be an issue. You cannot leave the EU and leave a big gaping hole in your border. Many people have tried to explain this to you and Pete and Oldblue. I am not going to repeat it for the millionth time because you choose to ignore the blatantly obvious and instead point fingers...
Of course Peter Bone would say that being a conservative and pro brexit. Broaden your base and see what a multitude of experts and economists and security experts have said about the whole thing. Stop living in a narrow ally way full of conservative views and media.
As for the Hard border itself of course the EU would bring it up because leaving the EU means figuring out your borders and people who can now not freely move. Oh that's right leaving the EU for you is simply trading with others and not being restricted and everything else will stay the same. Jesus wept....
Jeepers 1493 pages of the same tired argument and defense of a shambles. Its everyone's else's fault.
Yes it has been explained a million times and you still don’t get it. The only people who want a hard border are the EU, not the U.K., not Northern Ireland, not Ireland. The EU quite deliberately insisted on ‘sorting out’ the Irish border before discussing trade because they knew it was impossible while they insisted on a hard border. You say that the EU is right to sort out its border between one current and one soon to be ex EU member, while they completely ignore eastern borders and allowed a couple of million people to walk in and walk about the place. This is an EU inspired political argument for the benefit of those who want a USE, it has nothing to do with helping Ireland, Northern Ireland, trade, its people or the peace process. The EU are using Ireland as a proxy to beat the U.K., it’s very simple really........
