They should be debated in parliament like any other process. To do otherwise is completely missing the point of parliamentary democracy.
Agree with you there Tubey, haven't been following it a lot lately .
Do they have the chance to debate it , at committee or any other level.
Only thing that I could think off is that if it was debated , as it's so complex it could have gone passed the leaving date leaving us in a right mess.
Might be totally missing the point as I have said haven't been keeping an eye on things lately.

This is a little long, but I think it's one of the best pieces on Brexit and concern over the EU in general. Think it's from back in May...

How to explain Poland’s swing against the European Union? How to explain the election of the Catholic fundamentalist, authoritarian, populist, Eurosceptic Law and Justice Party to rule a booming country that has benefited from more than €130 billion in EU investment in its roads, railways and schools, a country where only a few years after EU accession in 2004 hundreds of foreign factories and distribution centres opened, employing hundreds of thousands of people, a country whose citizens have taken advantage of EU freedom of movement to travel, work and study across the continent in their millions?

I'm pretty sure that any major pieces of Eu legislation requiring change will be debated, as there would quite rightly be uproar. Amendments will tighten it up......

It goes through another reading and everyone gets to put forward amendments, that's why opposing it at this stage was so stupid.......

I couldn't dare be so cynical, but....
Hahaha, it's okay us criticising MP's for voting through an unprecedented bill that was far wider in scope than justified and gifting exceptional powers to a weak PM that is secretive and difficult to trust at the best of times, but we don't have to contemplate how we'll maintain our other income streams whilst taking back responsibility for the work load we gave to Europe.
