Most of which were misplaced, yes. I'll quite happily stand by that point and I haven't done anything to say that I won't.

Look, I'm defending those who voted for us to leave the EU for reasons other than "immigrants coming 'ere and stealing my jobs mate".

And I will defend those who voted to remain, as thta was their inalienable right. But broad generalisations about the demeanour of those Leave voters is plain wrong.

No generalisations were made, and if you assumed there were - then I can only apologise for not making myself clear. I was referring to my own personal experiences, I'm always willing to hear well constructed arguments.

Why did you vote to leave?

Now it's down to insults, eh. The refuge of the defeated.

You can dish it out, but don't like it when you get it back in equal measure. There are a few on here like you. Big boy bullys spouting garbage, but little shithouses when confronted about it. Ten-a-penny, your crowd, and easily identifiable.

It's for reasons like this that political threads were banned on here. Pack it in and grow up.

Do you not understand how utterly ridiculous you sound? I'm always interested in hearing what most people have to say, but I'm struggling to take you seriously,

Do you not see (I don't know whether you have been in, or followed this thread, from the start) that there has been a continual barrage of abuse by certain posters for nearly 12 months against those who voted Leave? Yet when those who voted Leave stand up for their position, they are continually attacked. It has been a recurring theme throughout this thread. It is tiresome. It is disgraceful, and the Mods should have stopped it in its tracks long ago. But they didn't. And so it continues. And so the 'Leave' voters continue to defend themselves, and if those who attack them don't like it, tough. It's quite simple. Check and see how many Leave voters, for example, have piled into Remain voters good-style just because they voted Remain as an initial starting point (i.e. unprovoked). You won't see it. Check how many time Remain voters have piled into Leave voters. Just today for example. It's there for all to see. I'm quite happy to discuss things in a reasonable manner, but if someone piles into me or my views without any justification whatsoever, then being a Scouser, I'll react. Would you expect anything different...

Calm down, cut out the insults and poor language and debate sensibly !!

I feel I've been more than reasonable with statements made and my line of questioning

I'm off out now, 25. I'll come back later and give you the full reasons. As I put in a previous post, I'm quite happy to discuss things on a reasonable basis, but others on here just want to continually bait people.

Back later.

I'm trying to, but when you get this from Number_25 in post 19162, for example: "...As for this, I can tell you were foaming at the mouth whilst writing it.
"Your kind". Less of that, you biff..."

then you should be admonishing those who lob insults in the first place. That post is an absolute disgrace and an insult to an individual.

... both of those examples happening because you started raging for no apparent reason in the first place, because whenever you get to a keyboard you seem to be apoplectic with rage. Why can't you see this?

@Old Blue 2 @Tubey @Number_25

Fellas, let's all please try and calm down, treat each others opinions with some respect even if you disagree or hold differing views.
This is a forum for discussion and debate, and I'm sure you're all quite capable of expressing yourselves calmly and coherently.
Cheers
P.S.
Enjoy the sunshine ;)

Please supply the figures for the bold text above.

Please supply the sample size for the bold text above. Oh you can't for either. Lad of bollocks then...

"...so effectively a racist platform..." Not at all. This premise has no basis in logic or proof. It is therefore a single opinion, and worthless when used in a nationwide context.
All my post that day were on the economy I cannot why @bluestevon intimated I wanted people to go home of that race?
I reported him after trying to reason with him the mods { hard job they have told us to pack it in } sorry when I am on the receiving end of a quote by him like that I do not take it lightly it was disgraceful, those who backed me up as they know I never post things like that again thanks again for your support as I am not like that!

Joey is wrong about a large number of things, and the rhetoric that he sometimes post isn't at all helpful or conducive.

But I don't believe for one second that he's a racist.

Many Thanks - yes we disagree but thats debate that's what a forum is for - the debate on the day was about the economy, and brexit - Your an avid remainer - I am a brexitier as an older person I obviously have different views as I remember the days before the common market even - I voted twice to be in it for trade - third time it was the polictical union I voted out to be called a racist with the other 17 million is plain inflammatory, and where the poster came from to pick on me out of the blue was disgusting - I will put him on ignore!

I don't think you're a racist Joey, but all the same you must see that a sizeable amount of Brexit voters did it on xenophobic grounds? UKIP gained the popularity it did for a reason.

So I do believe racists and xenophobes voted for Brexit - but that doesn't mean I'm calling you a racist. People voted for many reasons; all I'm saying is that it should be acknowledged that these reasons were some of those reasons, and a fairly large part in my view.
