£500m to on a new passport project. Turning them from burgundy to blue. How many frontline emergency staff could be employed for that? It's important to keep the swivelled eyed loons happy though I suppose isn't it, Theresa? You contemptuous cretin.

RE your language etc: What happened to Love and Peace like your Avatar?

What's the problem, the words European Union have to be removed....

So, whatever the cost is to the uk, however incompetent and hubristic the government negotiating and setting up the groundwork, it's all fine, provided, at least superficially, things are referred to as uk and not eu?

Looks like our Nige has been in & out again .........

Not my cup of tea TBH but each to his own (& apparently she's not fussy as to gender)

To be honest the passport is the least of the reasons I voted out.

Intact I quite like the Euro one. Maybe I'm a closet Europhile...

That wasn't really my point like, but i'm pleased to hear that you're outcome-resilient on this important issue ;)

I think you're right, although my personal feelings were tempered somewhat by the swear-filter and potential harm to children and animals.

The 'defence' aspect last week's also noteworthy. The Cabinet meeting where it was decided that it was a strong suit to play was obviously leaked, and the EU countered before notification by saying it couldn't form part of the discussion. Rather than change tack slightly and state that ALL contributions and liabilities should be considered, they just ran with the original script ffs.

The strutting around trying to show how 'hard' they are just makes them look weak and pathetic. The UK government is in a pickle trying to disentangle the UK form the EU. But rather than ask for support and help they blunder on with the 'we are tough'. And when things like Gibraltar or the border with Ireland throw up a dilemma they bury their heads in the sand and start stamping their feet.
