Well in that case we could say that it was the fault of Juncker and Merkel for basically taking the piss......
That's another thing that puzzles me.

The German gov. currently poses no threat to us but is seen as the enemy.

However Theresa May seems happy to throw our lot in with Trump (potentially a danger himself), who is backed by Russia, who could be seen as a threat to us.

Bizzare this politics lark.

It certainly is Groucho no way did I ever think Out would win - the rats left the ship, and our trade figures today were very good - 9 months on , and article 50 not signed it's like a soap opera - The proposed white paper proposed today, is so tight in substance, and Corbyn calls in a three line whip to pass it - mind blowing politics!

Germany is not an enemy, but let's not forget that they have a €50Bn trade surplus with us, basically run the EU for their own ends and had the power to give David Cameron some decent concessions which Merkel refused to do. In addition she opened up the borders and invited the world into Germany and the rest of Europe, without any agreement with other EU countries who have had to pick up the pieces.

Trump is a UK supporter, unlike Obama who was certainly not, and Americans and Britons have traditionally got on very well in all manner of industries and international policies. Obama wanted Germany to effectively rule the EU. So while Trump is not to everyone's taste, and no President ever has been since Kennedy, he at least wishes us well and we would be rather stupid not to use this to our benefit......

No the reason it came to fruition was because David Cameron called a totally unneccesary referendum.

Actually disagree. If Labour had campaigned about the positives of EU membership with any semblance of enthusiasm, it could and I believe would have swung the vote.

The way Corbyn backhandedly supported Brexit was a complete disgrace. In fact, he just is a disgrace full stop. Even now, enforcing a three line whip on an emotive, massive issue when he himself rebelled more times than anyone about absolutely everything while on the backbenches, regardless of logic.

Clueless beaut.

Donald Trump wishes nobody well other than Donald Trump. It's naive to think otherwise.

But a useful clueless beaut.......
