I wouldn't worry about banks making decisions, would you seriously.

If you care about your pension, the NHS, schools and other key public services you should(!)

Hmm.

Gina Miller's solicitor is, so far, the only person to point out the very pertinent fact that by triggering 50, Parliament's vote on the deal is neither here nor there: at the end of the two year period of negotiation, the U K is out.

As to the democratic validity of the vote, I'm not aware of any ballot paper which has detailed the implications of the result. That's the whole point of the campaign that leads to the result.

Sturgeon now saying it's becoming increasingly clear that Scotland's voice will not be heard. I'd say its voice has been heard more than enough thanks to her exhausting / exhaustive comments.
Scotland has a population of 5.5 million people 40 % that voted out - if they go it alone the tax receipts would not cover paying job seekers allowance up there so why and how can the financially go independent?
she talks as she is in charge of a massive country population wise it is not it also relies on 65% inports from the UK more than the EU!
there is no mood up there for another referendum of independence and Sturgeon knows that fact its just bluster, and blunder from her!

they said this if we would not join the Euro!
This feels different though mate. I certainly do not want to join the euro currency, but I did vote remain.

Not for fiscal reasons, mainly because I've not much money anyway, but mainly because of employment rights.

We have quite a lot of protection, work-wise, from EU employment law. It is my one remaining hope that this isn't eroded away. I'm genuinely fearful of working conditions going down the pan in 5 or so years.

Or king conditions for some have gone down the pan because of uncontrolled immigration. I have more faith in UK governments that we can vote in and vote out than the way unelected EU people push laws through.........

I wouldn't know about king conditions.

I was referring to everyday working conditions, for those of us working full time with families, like I do.

I couldn't care less about the privileged few.

It was the same experts Ken Clarke broke his back to push John Major to join the Euro, fortunately he failed!

The UK government without the EU have crushed the trade Unions since the miners strike the Dockers strike etc they are trying now to stop the railway union via the courts going on strike with 75% of the ballot to strike well above the current rules!
I understand what you mean that a right wing government so many years in may take advantage as above , but my point is they are doing it now.

Can we just take a moment to note some great Labour MPs that are willing to stand up against the Brexiteer bully-boys and vote against Article 50.
  • Geraint Davies.
  • David Lammy.
  • Tulip Siddiq.
  • Owen Smith.
  • Catherine West.
  • Daniel Zeichner.

What a sad gaff!

Indeed....."I join the Prime Minister in expressing condolences I'm sure of the whole house to the family of the police officer who lost his life over the weekend in Northern Ireland."........was he the only person who was unaware that the policeman was still alive, I couldn't believe it when he said those words.......it was made even worse when one of his spokesmen said that he meant to say "nearly died", it which case why send condolences......dreadful.....
