Do you know what those stars mean?

It's kinda been sold on that basis though hasn't it? Trade with the world and all that. India already rebuffed May after her desire to reduce migration levels, I'd say America is more likely to exploit us than trade with us....

Maybe, but early talk seems to be about easing our existing trade conditions between U.K. and USA which will obviously benefit both parties by removing tariffs etc, before additional trade is added.....

The fact the simpletons thought for one moment they didn't need to pass this through parliament, knowing full well it was a non-binary referendum, shows a level of incompetence in this crop of politicians which almost defies belief.

Seriously, your average teenage politics student would have told you what needed to be done.

Even more confusing is the reaction to this ruling - the truth is it means next to nothing. They will put a bill forward on activating Article 50 and that's that; it'll pass easily.

The true test is when they have to run the final negotiated agreement through parliament (yes, they will have to do that), because at that point, if the agreement is an utter disaster, then parliament should vote in the national interest and veto it if it need be.

Indeed, and May has already said that parliament will vote on the final agreement. Personally I'm very happy with the way this case has been decided......

Hmm.

Gina Miller's solicitor is, so far, the only person to point out the very pertinent fact that by triggering 50, Parliament's vote on the deal is neither here nor there: at the end of the two year period of negotiation, the U K is out.

As to the democratic validity of the vote, I'm not aware of any ballot paper which has detailed the implications of the result. That's the whole point of the campaign that leads to the result.

Sturgeon now saying it's becoming increasingly clear that Scotland's voice will not be heard. I'd say its voice has been heard more than enough thanks to her exhausting / exhaustive comments.

What mandate is there for us to leave the European Single Market?

The correct answer is None, but I look forward to your empty nonsensical reply of "u lost m8, get ova it".

David Davis just addressed this in the commons. He said that there are a great many components that comprise the EU, in the same way that when you buy a car then the wheels and seats are included, and that having voted to leave the EU we voted to leave all of its components....I replied something similar the other day but you simply refuse to accept it.....
