Doesn't all this worry about the EU and our trading agreements with the 27 members assume that by the time we exit there will be 27 state still in the EU and not a number of them ready to leave?

So the poor, the sick, the elderly, the needy pay a huge price for an outdated concept of sovereignty?

In a global economy sovereignty doesn't exist, even as the 5th or 6th largest economy in the world. If we wanted sovereignty why for example would we entertain the idea of TTIP?

I'd rather wait and see what happens before getting too emotional or predicting the end of the planet. In respect of a TTIP, if we want one we can do one, if not we don't, but it will be our choice.......

not overnight no, but we have at least a 2 year buffer to start the negotiations elsewhere.

no idea if it is possible or not, so not throwing stats at you lol Just think the world does not end with the EU and many other countries survive on trade without being an exclusive member
That's not how it works. Businesses aren't going to wait two years or for the end of negotiations to shift their focus elsewhere. Britain has become overnight a volatile, dangerous market.

Again I am not scaremongering here as I said before on a personal level I will likely do better out of this result. But many british jobs will be lost; the only concrete example i can give is my own company which will move UK operations elsewhere but I imagine many other businesses are of a similar mind.

civil war. About to break out

Good.

For far too long we the people just accept politics as it is. Not like something, deal with it because someone else voted them in. Really not like something? Do nothing about it, or just stop voting because that is always the answer.

I believe politics in this country does need a change to some extent, when you see the real britain and not the upper class britain that posh eton led mps see then you can see where the issue lies in parliment.

also side note, the NHS, who provide healthcare to everyone and stop people dying and what not. Why wouldn't you want to support it? Just borderlines on insanity that governments in this country would even cut money to it, especially given issues elsewhere

Exactly mate its short term loss for long term gain, everyone carrying on like the world has ended. If were scared of what the tories will do then we can vote them out in the next GE.

This potentially has large implications for Ireland. UK is our single biggest trade partner ( and Ireland being one of UK's biggest trade partners). Don't even want to think about the implications of a united Ireland, which we couldn't afford with out major restructuring of our budgets.

I work for a UK based company myself and have really no idea yet what impact, if any, there will be for me personally.

not quite understand why it would be bad news for ROI @dublinbluenose , surely the UK will need to keep these trade partnerships open wouldn't they ?. and I'm not being smart, I genuinely don't know.

Enjoy the trip, if you don't want to stay then please close the door on the way out.........

This is what i mean when i said lighten up. We had the vote and people chose what they wanted.

And nobody knows what will happen next, noone knows if it long term be a good or bad thing and no-one even knows who the next prime minister will be. By all means construct intelligant arguments on the matter but doom and gloom off the back of it?

I mean i'm not magic, this could affect me in a negative way as well in some capacity, i'm not looking for the negatives though straight afterwards
