I still don’t think it was intentional, either.
He’s Norwegian, that’s why. His Da played for City, Leeds, but he was still raised in Norway. His whole family are Norwegian, it was never an option.

I’ve only sent the highlights so far, but I’m surprised by Haaland losing his cool so massively. Just weird.
I also think him scoring doesn’t really offer a fair reflection of how much he was subdued, because I thought he was lucky to score at all. If Pickford hadn’t half-saved it, it’d have been cleared off the line without too much bother.
Anyway, limiting him to one in the game means we did our bit to derail his run on Dixie’s record. He needs close to 2 goals per game from here on out and that’s not happening - I also think he’s going to come up against more aggro now others have seen it work as an approach.

I think that City are falling into the same trap with Haaland as we did with Lineker.
The City team seem to have lost their overall intensity and think they just have to always give it to Haaaland.
They are nowhere near as good as last season despite the fact that the Norwegian is clearly a tremendous goalscorer.
We were better in the season before and after GL , a dar better balanced team and a greater threat.

Yep sounds plausible that. According to actual real life reports, he's on £350k a week plus goal bonuses (same as Salah btw), and according to kopites, he makes a million a week and Nunez is loads better laaaaaa.

I think that's a really good point.
But pep is a decent enough manager to find how to get round this? I did find his comments the other week about knowing when to leave and a contract isn't much to him a bit worrying if I was a city fan.
