EH?

Macca mate you don't half talk some nonsense.

While I think Remy is a good player, he's played 14 games in two years...

Bony, also a good player, isn't similar in style to any of the players linked which suggests Koeman didn't want a target man.

Whoever came in was going to be as back up to Lukaku. How would they be guaranteed minutes week in week out?

These things called tactics and substitutions.

Oh remind me who owns Sky Bet?

You have a cheek saying I talk nonsense. You've been at it all summer. Maybe tell us again why Charlie Austin won't sign because he's 'first choice at Southampton'.

Money talks. Same with Remy - he won't always get a game as they have Benteke. At Everton Remy and Bony would have been getting minutes every single week without fail.

We should have been targeting remy or bony (or both) from the start if they were available for loaning. Getting one of them in early for pretty much nothing (they would have started the first game) would have caused less stress over the rest of the window trying to get a big money backup. Would have given us the chance to offload kone as well, but we've ended up with a west ham reject, we're a better team than west ham, it's just all a bit odd. Especially given the strikers they have injured at the moment as well, caroll always is, not quite sure what they got out of this move.

Austin was first choice at Southampton throughout pre-season.

He started in their last 2 matches and has come on as a sub in the 2 before that? Your point?

And all I posted from the SkyBet thing was the top par of Wiki? i didn't say anything else... I literally just posted it on the thread?

Tell me why you think Bony would leave City's reserves to come and sit on our bench because he'd get the odd 10 minutes?

IF Koeman wanted him, we'd have made a move. He quite clearly didn't want the player or that type of player - considering the strikers we were linked with who play nothing like Bony, I'd say that's a fair assessment?

You said Austin was first choice before he had started a game this season, he'd been on the bench!

You were trying to be clever, you were incorrect with Sky Bet.

Again, I'm expressing my opinion that Bony and Remy were decent realistic options. Why you keep picking me up for that, I have no idea. I've also said I would have started Bony next game and let him and Rom actually be competitive. Rom is sorely in need of a kick up the arse. Again, my opinion.
