West Ham fans that watch him regularly will probably back that up tbh

West Ham fans think they won the World Cup in 1966 and believe Mark Noble should get a knighthood.

I like how you've changed your avatar to that factually incorrect table btw

EDIT: I've also seen enough of him to know he's not a dud. If he was coming in as first choice it'd be awful. As back up on a no risk deal I don't see the issue (though we could and should have done better - that doesn't change that)

Remember all the fume regarding Gueye?

It amazes me that people go through the same emotions every single time.

No there is a world of difference.

Gueye was derided because he was coming from a terrible Villa team. However their fans generally had a very good opinion of him and were sad to see him go.

On the other hand take a look at the main West Ham forum. Jesus. This lad is their Niaise and McGeady all rolled into one. And they've been watching him game in game out.

Certain players suit certain clubs. We appreciate the hard working attitude of any player who puts a shift in, especially a striker leading the line. Just think back to Marcus Bent, no where near top standard but worked his socks off, and everyone remembers him fondly even now.

Whenever I've seen him play he looks dangerous, gets in good areas of the pitch, has got pace which we need up front, hassles defenders and good work ethic. I think playing in a team with Barkley, Mirrallas, Bolasie, Geri etc. he will get loads of chances to score, and he'll help create space for Rom as well. It could well be that he just suits us better than West Ham.

I'm willing to give him a chance to show what he can do, an I reckon he will be a good signing as well, very useful addition to the squad.

Good luck Enner, and welcome to Everton.

Aston Villa fans were hardly glowing about Gueye. They said he wasnt very good on the ball etc.

People worry far too much about what players have done at other clubs. Its how they fit into a certain system at any club which matters. If Koeman thinks he can do a job for us in our system which is totally different to West Ham's then that will do for me and I am willing to see how he does because of that.

IMO he isnt the best footballer.
Koeman will use him as a 'Shane Long' type, running into the channels, putting pressure high up the field, winning free kicks.
He has not been brought in to score 20+ goals. he maybe pick up a few. I think hes better than Niasse, he wasnt a footballer!
i doubt we will sign him permanently, but have agreed a figure incase and there is no harm in that.
Our squad isnt massive but we have several players in forward positions who can play across the front line. Mirallas can play as a striker, got pace, trickery and can finish well.
i wouldnt say the transfer window has been a 10. however it isnt a 1. Probably a 7 ;)
We are in a better state now than end of the season, management team, brought key players in who are solid premier league players and we have already showed positive signs in the first 3 games, picking up 7pts and looking good for it.

I am not happy that we never added quality to centre midfield/striker. Although am kind of glad Spurs nipped in for Sissoko at £30m.
Hes decent but not THAT good.

Overall am still optimistic that Koeman will get the team well drilled and if we can continue our start into the next 4 games (all winnable) we will be looking very good for a top7 finish.
