Yes it is a change in formation but you still need the player to do his job and he did. Yes there are better out there but he still brings something to the team when its needed even if its just for being a disruptive nuisance. He battles for the ball and is like a little Gana up front. Much better option than DCL at the moment.

We'll be here all day,
I personally think that he's nowhere near good enough for us,especially if we want to progress to "the next level"
But opinions n stuff.

I agree he is not the answer and we must get better and that also applies to around 5 or 6 other players and positions. We are not good enough in many positions.
 
He's absolutely nowhere near the level we need, nor aspire to.

He should be sent straight back to that gash athletics ground in London, consigned to a single page in our history that screams 'lastminute.com panic squad filler'.

The game changed yesterday when he came on, as it has on a number of games. That may say something about what was on offer before but his energy and enthusiasm lifted the team and the crowd. If he only cost £2 mill or so would be a useful squad player.

Applaud his effort and running but he lacks quality which we should be aiming for. He wouldn't get into any of the top 6 teams sides as regularly as he does ours and we should now be aiming higher. Yes, better option than DCL but so is Lookman and I would rather see him get more game time than Valencia in future. Gerry is a far better long term option than him too imo.

Mirallas, Lookman, Bolasie (2018) - the only genuine wide players we have going into the new season. If we get another injury we could be a bit one dimensional?!
