Surely the question is of relevance, though I am trying to swerve the obvious far-right undertones which a debate like this tends to have

...i’m not sure it’s worthy of a separate thread. I’m not even sure it’s a major issue given the majority will be English speaking and even if our no1 target isn’t, it didn’t seem to matter with Pochetino.

While we are rolling out the stereotypes I hear that they're all abusive towards women as well.

Hibbert didn't even offer her a hand up. Neanderthal. Get back to Russia.

Yeah, Martinez' level was way within the minimum, but honestly Koeman was good enough by most standards. However, he was clearly not able to actually fill out his proper sentences like a big boy. Question here is simply if that ability seems important to us as a whole, like.

Mostly, as said, this stems from the rather odd shouts for english managers, every one of which is underqualified.
Martinez' English was great for a foreigner, as well as actually being married to a Scottish woman (which didn't help his English, granted).
He just had an accent ffs.

Yeah, it's sad that even trying to raise the question makes people think of and call me both clueless and racist, like. Question is really what we as a fanbase think of it, and if it really matters! As i mentioned in the original thread, surely some of us think it doesn't matter (like Pochettino) while maybe others prefer someone english.

Clearly, Ronald had no idea how to communicate with his players (arguably Martinez was better at this) and surely the level at which the next manager will be communication-wise is of utmost importance!
