I prefer tacos...proper Mexican taco's though - no nachos, taco's - corn tortillas, carnitas or beef just add onion and cilantro (Coriander) and a splash of freshly squeezed lime - that's where it's at right there.

@muddy mudguard Try these on for size: street enchiladas (identical to street tacos, but they dip the corn tortillas in enchilada sauce):

We have a local Mexican grocer that sells street tacos.

Few* things are better than fresh corn tortillas with whatever stewed meat they have in the pot, onion, cilantro, and lime.

*Enchiladas are one of those few things.

Americans need to geg right out of Mexican food. Bad John Terrys wanting some of that reflected glory of the greatest food on earth.

Nowhere does Mexican food taste so good than on it's own soil.

Stick to burgers and grits you obsese war mongering south Canadian teds.

I made enchiladas last night with a vegetarian filling of Quorn mince, onion, leek, pea and sweetcorn. And it was bloody lovely. The much-maligned Quorn soaked up the sauce making it all nice and stodgy. Will definitely do that version again.

As far as faux-food goes Quorn isn't bad.
