Says in today’s Sunday Times that Cardiff are going to erect a shrine to Sala.
All very sad etc but why? Never kicked a ball in anger for them. Weird
Yeah it's weird - along with the 'forever a blue' stuff. It's tragic, but this is all too much.

I think it's a lovely gesture. He had signed for the club, he was their record signing too IIRC and to lose his life in such tragic circumstances, it's honorable of them commemorate that. I'd expect any club would do the same.
A statue? Really? Something that will forever be outside the club for a player who (sadly) didn't kick a ball for them. Do you think any club would honestly do that? It's honourable of them to show their respects as they have but statues are OTT.
This isn't the same as Leicester losing their owner - a man who had an impact on not only the club but the city of Leicester. I'd fully expect them to erect a statue.
It doesn't really matter though does it?
Polite request to people who are in possession of photographs of the body that are doing the rounds - do not post them here thanks.

The statue for me personally feels like a step too far
Pretty sure they mean a shrine. Like a semi permanent focal point for respect for a week or so, instead of shirts and scarfs at the stadium gates.
In which case I suppose that seems reasonable, my fault for lack of of concentration when skimming the forum . It’ll depend on what’s it’s like I suppose .
Just my assumption to be honest mate. A permanent statue would frankly, be plain daft.
