None of it makes pretty reading to be honest. Next big job he gets linked with, which he can spend money, hes off and I for will not begrudge him 1 little bit.

Last 1 out turn off the light.

How long must they feed him on scraps?

Please stop using '1' instead of 'one', it's small time.

MikelsGoat is better than small time.

Well im fuming now, cant believe we as a fanbase take this crap.

Its enough to make "one" go crazy.

Let's wait till November.

If nothing happens directly after that, I will go crazy, and Moyes will leave when the Sunderland job comes up.

And then I will give up.

But until then, chin up lid.

What are you trying to say Mr Bloo?

If moyes is moaning then he should just shut up and pack up then. He knows the situation, has done for years.

The club can't throw the cash about, they have to fund the club 1st players 2nd. Only way that can change is is kenwright, woods and earl put some money in or all should bugger off as they're as bad as each other.

We as fans can either accept the situation as is it. Or whinge about it while doing very little to change anything apart from getting headaches and forgetting that some football actually gets played.

He's not really moaning, he's just telling it how it is.

And it's a forum, that's all we do. Talk about, moan about and big up Everton football club, it's all in the game bra.

I've only just caught onto this thread and the latest comments. Presuming David Moyes is telling the truth and let's be honest he probably is, then that is absolutely, unbelievably ridiculous. How we can possibly spend no money at all, given the position we are in and our recent success, I actually can't believe it. Someone needs to step the **** up and start taking some responsibility.

i thoroughly enjoyed watching that video, seeing four educated scousers in one room was great, and think elstone, kenwright and moyes are a fantastic trio to be running the club i love. robert and bill should get way more respect on here. I for one think it will be a sad day when we find an usmanov, gaydamak, shinawatra or bjogulfor running everton.

as for the knowsley move I can see why they wanna move there but still think somewhere in bleke near to south parkway would be better.

i'm not a fan of shirt sponsorship, let alone stadium sponsorship but i wouldn't mind so much, out of necessity, if we did get someone of the likes of sony or panasonic. we'll probably end up with funai though

WTF ?

Both Bobs and Daveys figures dont stack up really. If i was guessing and lets face it we all are, the truth is prob in between 23-24 million.

I would say Bob is probably taking into account two loan fees for Jo, Davey maybe isnt. That could be anything from a 500K to 1.5mil *2!

Additionly we paid fees for Coleman, Femi, Mustafi and Garbutt - prob close to two -three million (possibly the American kids to.

As for the wage bill we lost AVDM, Lescott, Castillo, Jacobson and Valente but took on Baxter, Rodwell, Heitinga, Billy, Wallace, Duffy, Distin and gave new contracts to Hibbert, Osman and and the kids mentioned above.

Thats all since the end of the last finacial year. So a figure of about 24 million seems apt maybe even more.

It was also reported that call in could cost Everton up to 10 million and i have no doubt that funds or lines of credit have been have been left untapped with an anticipated thumbs up expected on the new stadium.

For me though the worst part of what Moyes said yesterday was that when all was said and done we only got 19 mill for Lescott. Personally im disgusted with that given the context and disruption the move took place within - should have been more hard cash for me - but then who knows the ins and out of the Jo loan fee etc.

If you werent a football fan, and given the financial climate the world faces at the mo, not drawing on lines of credit is probably a good thing in the situation the club finds itself in.

It really doesn't matter either way Neiler.

The problem is Moyes doesn't think he has been backed, again.

You could take that from it, on the other hand he seems well chuffed on what he has brought in and that chimes in with is his usuall mantra "of the club gives what ever it can" rolled out just a couple of weeks ago. Not to mention "i make the decisons at Everton" i dont think hes as passive when it comes to transfer strategy as we assume, if anything he comes acorss possibly as the most frugal, highly analytical and cost concious of anyone at the club when it comes to transfers. Is hes really dissatisfied? or keeping himself marketable reinforceing the streotype the general media has of him of doing wonders on a shoestring? This media manipulation has become more a part of Moyes's style over the past couple of season - part of me thinks its to reiforce his role in club politics and part of me thinks hes reinforcing his own profile.

I think the dilema for Moyes is the - Level of funds hes able to work with to improve us Vs The autonomy he gets to run the football club. Thats a big hook for him i think - how long that will placate him - i dont know i have had huge fears for a while that he will move eventaully unless investment is found, ive said that here for quite a while, City are a huge fear for me and a large part of me is hoping Hughes doesnt make a dogs dinner of it at City.

My own opinion is that unlesss investment is found he will go eventually to an offfer to good to refuse. For me that may be at the end of the current cycle of this team - i wouldnt be surprised if Arteta, Yak were to move on soon and Cahill and Yobo etc aint getting any younger. Forget this summer next summer is the critical one for us.

The club play a dangerous game and is far to dependent on the manager - Moyes adds so much to the turnover at the club that we are almost utterly dependent on him. If he left the club could simply implode in so many ways. Yet the situation is hard to balance, anything on top of what we spent this summer if we did break even was borrowing - not borrowing is good - though i think the lines of credit may be used for the ground.
