I guess in this social age. Some people get a kick out of feeling involved remotely by having strong opinions on this stuff.
Maybe its me as I don't get too involved with it all that it just isn't a big deal, who owns what etc, as you can choose not to use it.
I.e. haven't bought a newspaper since 2000 and something

totally,
I don't think I've ever done such a 180 about take on someone.
I remember his reaction to that Thai rescue and thinking 'that's a bit strange but look at all the innovation...'
Then gradually more and more lunacy (apt) start creeping through
to the point now where he seems like a scorned toddler with an unstoppable ego.

Bit like Kanye West.

So, you think people are over reacting?

On the one hand you point out that the richest man in the world overpaid for a platform so he could align it with his own ideology and views,
and on the other you say just don't use the app and he'll go away.

Kinda like the Sun after it was boycotted...

What's happening is dangerous (IMHO)

I still feel that if everyone who doesn't align with Musk quit (and that's probably a majority of users), Twitter would go the way of Truth Social or Parler, and it would just be a bunch of qanon-morons that most of society can ignore. Twitter wouldn't go away, but its legitimacy would be highly diminished.

I dunno.
My sister isn't in to politics or socioeconomics or whatever but she reads the Mail online because she loves celebrity gossip! I've noticed her views skewing bit towards what the mail pushes, bound to happen if you read their entertainment pieces for so long.

Nope always thought he was a bell and full of it.
