Along with its obvious downsides, there is a lot of useful/interesting information on Twitter too that you can tailor to your own individual interests.Instead of going on Twitter to moan about Twitter, leave Twitter instead.
Stop being a slave to social media and let the entire platform crash
As you say, its an information hub first for most of us.Along with its obvious downsides, there is a lot of useful/interesting information on Twitter too that you can tailor to your own individual interests.
It can even be useful in an emergency - this year there was a local wildfire and I could track its progress far more easily through twitter and assess how likely we were to have to evacuate (thankfully we didn’t) that I would have through traditional media.
I know C, thats the challenge I now face.

For me Twitter was good for unfiltered news straight from the scene. It was also the fastest way of checking football scores.I suppose its a big day for anti-science, hate speech and bigots everywhere
There are genuinely some great sources of information and really creative funny accounts. At l least I won’t miss the relentless toxicity. People really hate each other for no reason these days.
