I wonder which App will replace it, none of the other options are viable, the race is currently on for somebody to get very rich.
Why are you looking at Trump being banned and placing the blame on Twitter for doing so rather than Trump for giving them just cause? You must know that is a poor analogy.
Twitter is much more than a restaurant, it is a source of information (good and bad) for millions/billions of people. By banning the President you set a dangerous precedent, what if there was a national emergency and Twitter or a smartphone may be people's only source of information.
Then there is the hypocritical nature of it, the leader of the Taliban was on twitter whilst a president was banned...

If Twitter now caters to the MAGA group that is already a pretty crowded business spaceI wonder which App will replace it, none of the other options are viable, the race is currently on for somebody to get very rich.
He seems to be taking the company private so I'm not sure he cares too much if they make money or not. This is an ego thing for him to have a global platform.Advertisers will leave in droves if they remove moderation and stock price will collapse. He's already indicated to advertisers that moderation will continue.
There arent anywhere near enough people willing to pay subscriptions for twitter to charge one. Its selling point is its a free app/site.
To be honest, Twitter has always struggled to make money, which is why it lags so far behind Facebook, Instagram, and so on.I wonder which App will replace it, none of the other options are viable, the race is currently on for somebody to get very rich.
His first press release was to advertisers trying to reassure them that he wasnt going for a free for all approach so presumably twitter will still be reliant on ad revenue. He seems to be taking the company private so I'm not sure he cares too much if they make money or not. Hopefully we get more use of 'ratio' and penaldo as well.... ?I mean, every time I’m on Twitter, my main complaint is that there’s just not enough racism, misogyny, abuse or misinformation. Hopefully Musk can put that right.
I can't see it getting money from anywhere else, I just wonder whether Musk will worry as much about it losing money as the bosses did.His first press release was to advertisers trying to reassure them that he wasnt going for a free for all approach so presumably twitter will still be reliant on ad revenue.
