His background is engineering and economics I believe, not sure he holds a masters let alone a PhD. Nor do I believe he has produced a scientific dissertation, any papers research or patents of any note.

He's a businessman who has benefitted from a huge inheritance and a willing audience who buy into the cult of personality without being willing to do any research. I will say starling is an excellent product, how much he had to do with that on a research level I really don't know.

I personally find him unimpressive and reprehensible.

A: A lovely person who would be a 50/50 on whether you would personally gain.

B: An evil horrible person who you hate and despise with every ounce of your being but theres a 100% chance your life would dramatically improve.

You would and should choose B every single time.

But I don't think it's 100% Trump improves lives. Maybe if you are super rich.

If he introduces a 20% tariffs on goods, that is going to make people's lives a lot worse, especially in the UK. Thats the reality.
