Yea, what spaceX are doing is incredible things and even what Tesla have achieved is remarkable.
Makes me all the angrier that Musk is such a bell.

Spacex was on the verge of failure as per the doc but the engineers pulled it out of the bag. Tesla, well the story of that is well known. You may have seen the sewer that twitter/X has become.

If I'm honest I don't really care about all the SpaceX stuff beyond 'oooh rocket stuff look cool'.

I couldn't give a toss about man landing on mars, it looks the wackest place ever and if humanities survival revolves around a few hundred people starting a colony on some baron borderline uninhabitable shithole in 100 years time... well, we're [Poor language removed], I'll be dead, none of my family will be going there and will have to die on earth with the rest of the plebs lol.

Engineering wise I'm sure it's a great achievement but beyond that, meh.

He is no doubt backing Trump on the agreement that if Trumps wins, he will slap a crazy tariff on any EV's competing with Tesla.

The Russian money behind his purchase of Twitter will have had caveats, no doubt linked to supporting Trump.

I am not sure that he is the guy that his fan boys think he is.
