Even if he is refusing a new contract, he can not leave for free.
He will be unable to play for any club at all until what would be considerable compensation is agreed which may result in him having a year out.
You can not just walk out on a club who has invested so much in your development these days.

Can't understand this, at 17 he could of signed a 3 year deal, at 18 (he was 18 in Jan) he could of signed 5 year deal

Doesn't mean the european elite are queuing up to sign him!
Scoring loads of goals at kid level is meaningless in terms of the pro game. Lads got talent, hopefully we have a future star in the making
Just don't expect real Madrid to be knocking on the door for a player most of us had never heard of until recently

a lot of clubs especially german clubs have been trying to snap up english youth players for a pittance in the last few seasons, banking on the fact they wont get any game time.
