Transfer Rumour Eliaquim Mangala

Not saying he wasnt badly pants, but the other pair were cack too. Keane was marking no one at the corner koscielny scored from. Fat ash lost the first header. Keane lost the ball with a pathetic challenge (following our corner) for the 4th. Sure the ball nicked Quim basher for the third to deflect past Rockford for the third, but that's just duff luck. Poor attempt at a clearance for the first admittedly.

I'd also argue our two settled first team regulars should be taking responsibility and organising the defence better. Which they didn't. We were less suspect when Keane was hooked.

Opinions etc.

Edit: the defence weren't helped by dopey Schneiderlin our defensive midfield 'shield'. Uh huh.

Meh, stuff it. I hate them all.

Mangala failed to cut out the cross for the first goal - he stepped over the ball.

Both Koscielny and Aubameyang ran in behind him for the second goal.

But it wasn't his responsibility to mark Ramsey, so I wouldn't blame him for the deflected third goal.

After that, the result was not in doubt.

Keane was taken off in a tactical change to four at the back. By then, Arsenal were no longer playing in top gear.

So you're basicslly agreeing - he wasnt just to blame. The lot of 'em were cack.

My basic point is I'll cut the gut more slack coming into a defence that's been consistently crap all season with barely any training time.

Ultimately a strange decision by Allardyce.

Mangala was at fault on the 1st, but so was Williams. Williams just stood there, picked up no one. The player was in the center of the pitch, Mangala was still on the left. Williams did nothing.

Williams lost the headers on the 2nd BADLY and Mangala didn't react either. The third...Morgan just lets a player go right by him with all sorts of time and space on the 18, and Williams deflects it in.

Thought Mangala made the right decision on the 4th, he was clearly offsides.

The 5th, Mangala didn't step up and Morgan was loafing of course, so a player was wide open in the box.

I've never seen defenders like this. They don't react to players, they don't know how to mark players, they show no commitment, they have no athleticism, it's pathetic.

Its criminal that Williams is still at our club, let alone our captain today.... He's an absolute clown....
This is getting to beyond a joke that this clown of a footballer? Is still actually at the club. The fraud, joke of a manager is picking him so must take the blame.

Hard for anyone to make an impresssiin in the circus of a side we played today. Thought he did ok in the second half and can see him and Funes Mori as our first choice Centre backs very soon. Fat Sam needs to pick a back line and stick with it every week ....give them a chance !

The first half was so bad from everybody it is hard to point the finger at Mangala who was making his debut. I thought he improved as the game went on. Overall, a game to forget.
