I just hope we win this one. This one more than others for some reason

because it should confirm that we are numero uno in merseyside now.

i'd like to see him have a hissy fit and force a move, it would be spectacular watching RS fans cry and burn their flags and banners.

how much do you peeps think he's worth? can't believe the £40-£50m prices branded about, i wouldn't pay any more than £30m considering all the baggage he would bring. I mean does anyone remember him from last season? he was wasting chances galore, there's every chance this season could just be a one off. I know he scored goals in holland - but then again, there's plenty of alfonos alves'. I think for that kind of money you want someone who has as talented as suarez but also a proven big goalscorer.

Rawk meltdown coming Summer 2013.....

Of course EVEN more hilarious would be him injuring himself whilst trying to make one of his assaults, scuppering any chance of a summer move and no funds being made available, having to offload for less in Jan cos of injury whilst languishing in the lower reaches.

Although they COULD get £65mill for him and Brent would waste it on shoite as well.

This is the dream I dare not dream :)

the problem that any buying club has is that he is so vital to the ****e that the cost will be more than it would normally be for a player with his antics / record - £40 to £50 million isnt that crazy, given that if they sell him then they are even less likely to make the champions league than they were before.

of course the downside for the nonsense is that suarez and his agent know how important he is, which is why his contract keeps getting renegotiated upwards (probably considerably upwards after this season) every summer.

Suarez admitted his behaviour has let him down at times during his career but said he had consciously sought to clean up his act on the pitch.
"I have a very strange way of playing football," he said. "I'm my own severest critic and I realise when I make mistakes. You can lose some things, but you can never lose the slyness, the passion that you have had since you were a kid playing in the street. If I didn't have the character that I have today on the pitch, I don't think that I would have become the player that I am today."

for a team as attractive as bayern though, you would think they could attract just about anyone in the world. There are plenty of forwards better than suarez that they could get for cheaper. he seems like a kind of guy who would force a move if the opportunity was there so if i was desperate to buy, i wouldn't go over £30m

Dunno about that.

He's been the best striker in the league this year.

Easily top 10 in the world, as much as it pains me to say. Probably more like top 5 really.

If you consider his age (26) and the fact that he's at a team almost certainly missing out on Champions League football next year I think there will be a few clubs in for him. Although Liverpool certainly aren't poor.

I just hope he goes all Odemwingie and manages to get a cheap-ish move.

I'd be interested to see if anybody actually could name 5 better strikers on current form.

Can Ronaldo and Messi be included in that? I don't think so, personally.

I'd say Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Van Persie, Benzema (maybe not) and Aguero are all in the same class as him. But if we're just talking about form then he's right up there with Falcao in the top 2 or 3 at worst.

Yes, but thats what is more likely to keep him at the ****e. If he plays fair and doesnt demand a move then they will be looking at minimum £40-50 million to let him go, and as you say the likes of Bayern could buy arguably better strikers for that kind of money.

All this talk about him being the best striker in the world, he had one good season. He still a bad wool tho, he had massive bans in different leagues, assualt and racist. He a big risk to spend 50 million on. He on his best behavouir regarding racists and buying. He still shown to be a massive cheat with his fake injuries after his sly dirty tacklers, Made a show of Liverpool Legend KG when he promised to shake his hands. lol

he will have to have another world class season before anyone gambles 50 million on him.
