The fact that they spent that money on, mostly duds doesn't effect anyone but themselves. The owners haven't attended a game this season, they didn't even attend either of the Cup finals last year. They've got the Red Sox on the forfront of their minds, that's their big money spinner, once Suarez and Gerrard go look for them to look at selling up with no big money maker(s) at their 'project'.

They've currently got Uruguayan linguistic experts crawling over the actual text of the Suarez interview on rawk, so by lunchtime they'll have managed to conclude that "I'll talk to an interested CL club" in fact translates verbatim to "I'm staying forever". They'll then tweet abuse at journalists & acuse them of conspiring against Libpewl football club.
They'll then write poems and banners about him and display them home and away with their stupid flares. Do one you jarge ultra beauts.

Its never KKK's fault, it was all Damien Comolli; and before that it was Hicks and Gillet, not Benitez; but when Benitez was getting money from Hicks and Gillet it wasn't his fault he wasted almost £300m, it was Rick Parry's fault.

Thing is, anyone would move for a decent pay day and Champions League Football. ANYONE. Suarez moving will hardly be the most distasteful thing he's done
No mate I don't begrudge players leaving to better themselves at all and given the bloke is a racist who bit somebody on the football pitch he'd certainly have a way to go to do worse than that over a move.
What I mean is there is a way to move , basically respectfully and without too many waves saying the 'right thing ' . Then there is the wrong way , teddy out the pram spouting rubbish in interviews whilst leaking negative stories . I really hope that in order to force a move Suarez plumbs those depths . This is a bloke who lied to the manager who backed him over the handshake making a fool of him and probably costing him his job so if he doesn't get what he wants you have to hope he reverts to type and behaves appallingly
