ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Could be a bad weekend for them. Given lack of time and our poor form I've not been able to do a proper evaluation of this lot.

They (or Klopp) is getting away with murder because of the appalling form of Koeman. While they are undoubtedly performing better than us (hardly an achievement) they are really struggling.

What would worry me most if I were them is that Klopp's teams invariably peak in the first half of seasons. In his previous two seasons they have lost momentum as the season has gone on, and had a big dip in the second half of the season. Last season it was around a 20% dip in terms of points.

Klopp is used to Germany and his whole managerial approach is suited to that. Where you get a 6 week break half way through the season. Essentially you have 2 seasons with 2 pre seasons to re charge and re-build fitness. It's the opposite of here and he gets shown up.

This time last season they were supposed to be sailing miles ahead of United. Now they are miles behind. Who is to blame for that? I think they will finish 6th this season, which will not be enough.
What kind of soft cock would give would give a evaluation of another team? There is so many other things to concern yourself over.... Apparently only youth team matters....

The original club of the city.More seasons of top flight football than anyone else. The only ground in Liverpool to host a World Cup semi final. The Holy Trinity and Dixie Dean.Don't you know were the finest team on merseyside oh didn't you know didn't you know didn't you know.

What i did there was i took a Rangers song called oh didn't you know didn't you know and put an Everton slant on it.Seriously if only some of Liverpools supporters truly knew our history as the original footballing force of the city.If only they knew our history.

I'm not sure mate, maybe you can answer that? We have a thread about the reds, I am kind enough to cut through their utter nonsense for the benefit of themselves and our fans. The truth will set you free and all that.

I've got no idea what you mean about only youth team matters? You'll have to explain that one for me mate. If it did we'd be laughing, one of our youth teams annihilated Liverpool FC a couple of weeks back. Pretty common theme as well, they've been known to cry off playing us at different youth levels, to spare themselves the embarrassment.

Only ground in the country not just Liverpool.

Just seen some clip on Sky of fans of both sides at the Pit, debating what it means to both sets of fans. A big game no doubts. But one fella (about 30 yrs old I'd say) said despite the RS going through their worst period of success in their history theyre still only 2 league championships behind them (words to that effect). Excuse me, but how successful were the RS before Shankly came along? I'd hazard a guess there were many more long long barren spells between 1892 and 1963. He clearly doesn't know the history of his own club, or perhaps it never ever happened. Showing my age here I know, but football was invented long before Sky and the Premier league came along!

The RS media bias means Klopp gets away with settling for a draw at home and Mourinho gets all the blame for an awful match. It was the same last year. Klopp played 3 defensive midfielders and everybody complained that Mourinho ruined the game. If they are as good as Klopp claims why wouldn't they go for it against United? I'm not claiming Mourinho's tactics don't bore me to death by the way, I've never liked the way his teams play.

I would love us to get bore draws away at Anfailed as long as we were smashing the likes of Brighton.

Ferguson used to always play cautious away at the RS if I remember correctly.
