Been mulling this one over in my head. Can you imagine the following? Honestly just try.

Kid from Stoke or wherever comes to Goodison, gets in a disagreement with a pair of older and longer supporting fans about basically nothing (where frankly he was in the wrong, but that's not my main point) and then he:
1. Verbally abuses them
2. Preaches to the older, more local match goers about the traditions of the ground.
3. Highlighted the disability/mobility issues of one of his victims
4. Expressed his desire for them to be segregated from his favourite area on that basis, using the term "we" to make them feel extra ostracised.

Can you imagine how we'd react?!! He'd be an absolute pariah.

I'd pee in his Chang.

But THEY are giving it #pray4fatprick #YWAN Get behind der lad!!!1

They have a group that organises their flag flying mate. Once you digest that you can't look at it at how a normal human being would look at it.

I shouldn't let it wind me up, mate, but it does. It's not even the original offender who upsets me most (always a few bad eggs in every walk of life) , it's the support from the rest. Genuinely find it upsetting. I go to the game with someone who is partially sighted and he has to use a monocular. Never had any abuse, anyone questioning it and actually blues making allowances (swapped seats away the other year so I can sit next to him and explain anything he might miss).
I would be absolutely furious at anyone trying to reduce his enjoyment of the game and hearing about less able bodied fans (kopites or not) being discriminated against and subjected to abuse makes my blood boil.

They've got banners and flags with f-ing Sahko on ffs how is that more important than inclusion? Bloody hell. Made myself mad, sorry for the rant everyone.

Since when has Grobbelar known anything about stopping shots (other than by accident, of course)?

Ah, Grobbelar! That reminds me - you know what really grinds my piss? When people bang on and on about the famous 'jelly legs' antics in that European Cup final, saying what a character old Brucie was and no mistake etc etc

Thing is, at that time you weren't allowed to move before the ball was kicked, not even on your goal line. So how come 'everybody's favourite entertainer' gets to act like that and put the guy off?

Let's call it what it was. It was cheating. Again. And not only does it get allowed, but hailed by the talking heads on every single 'footbal funnies' crap that appears on telly. God, I wish he'd got done for that match-fixing business...

The Premier League has asked Liverpool for submissions over their valuation of Danny Ings, with an independent tribunal expected to decide on Burnley’s compensation fee in the new year. Ings arrived at Anfield in the summer following the expiry of his Burnley contract but, as he was under 24, the Turf Moor club are entitled to a transfer fee to be decided by a tribunal.

Liverpool valued the striker at almost £6m while Burnley wanted £10m and will argue that Tottenham Hotspur were prepared to pay around that sum for a player who was set on a move to Merseyside.
