Is that a Biography about Aldo, be surprised if that piss smelling [Poor language removed] stained alcoholic abomination of a fake Irishman hasn't got a very Little mentholated spirit soaked Liver

Now its funny you should mention him.... because hes very upset. It would appear hes been ignored again in the wake of the Jamie Vardy congratulations....AND to add insult to injury, usurped by Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Oh dear....that litter strewn entry he gravitates to is beckoning...

" I’m very proud of my record of scoring in 10 successive top flight games. It hurts me when people talk about the Premier League record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy because the record is about goals in the top flight and it’s the name of a Liverpool player which is up there too.
Until the weekend we both shared it, a Liverpool player and a Manchester United player, but I’m delighted for Jamie Vardy.
He came up through non-league football, just like me, and he’s a terrific story. I just hope he stops his scoring run at 10! "

Poor ould Aldo.

haha i thought so, i remember at the time Aldo was proper fuming at the prospect of a united player breaking his record

We walked away from Goodison saying that we played well but villa are a poor side. 4-0.
They play a Manchester city side who were just as bad as Liverpool were good. 1-4.

The difference is we admitted Villa were poor yet they claim to make city 'Look' poor. Im sorry but even my 26 year old, 22 stone, knees of a 80 year old pensioner, bulk of mass could of had a few shots on City's goal they were so bad, no midfield first half, centre half's looked like the chuckle brothers on a bender, no co-ordination about them.

The above is just one of many examples why us and them just don't see eye to eye.

Will never forget that FA cup record that old piss stained kecks owns - First penalty miss in a FA Cup final - oh yeah and it ended up losing them the game to Mighty Wimbledon

Someone should tell him that if he is that interested in banging on about consecutive goals in games in the top flight then he doesn't share any record with anyone as it's owned by a bloke no ones heard off

Still defending the right of an 18 stone young thug to terrorize two pensioners because the Geordie nobhead wanted to fly his banner.

Stay classy.

And the Echo just HAD to embellish the article or try to deflect attention from thuggish behaviour with no less than 5 photos of banner and flags.

**Message to Editor** We all know what banners and flags are, we don't need FIVE photos of them !!!

Klopp on how far his side have come:

"We are not at the end of this way, it's a long way we have to go. It's not easy because there is no time to train. When we have time, all the players are around the world with the national teams. We didn't have more players this time but they came back a little early because of the things that happened in Europe. It was better for the training."

Herr Klopp needs to bear in mind also that in addition to Europa, when Panel Note Sturridge returns to the arena, he will also require his famous additional recovery days...as heralded by B Rodgers ad nauseam. My, its going to be busy when he returns to the England set up too...they may as well close Melwood as there'll be more recovery days than training days. Then he'll tweak another heart string requiring a trip to Spire for another scan. Encouragingly RS though to hear Klopp slipping easily into Partridge territory with his take on the post Paris Daesh scenario curtailing international games....."it was better for training". Every cloud, hey.

Great point

Wimbledon were a decent side

It was hardly Second Division Sunderland beating Don Revie's Leeds in 1973

Don't be silly guys. Wimbledon only got promoted 2 years earlier. They were in the 4th division in 82. Liverpool meanwhile were at the tail end of a phenomenal period in their history. This final defeat arguably began the demise that persists to this day, but I think you're all being incredibly daft if you don't think this was a massive shock.

I remember thinking I could have made more of an effort in the Villa back four just by sticking a bit closer to Rom for starters. Jeez there were 5 or 6 of them all over the place. Granted we put together three or four decent passes for the goals but the general idea is to either tackle, stick close to or get in the way of perhaps one or two opponents rather than get lost in a sea of mediocrity. Lack of confidence has nothing to do with, basically, not giving a rat's arse.

It's ON.......RS up to 5th in the APL.........

And I thought you went to a match to watch a game of football. How silly of me. They're acting like a class in a nursery school, all sitting on the naughty step. Pricks.

But the thing is none of them go the games. They go on an internet forum to suggest old people who have been paying good money into the club for years shouldn't sit on the kop....and not one has got a mind of their own to tell the others they are morons. Complete and utter morons. The fact the mods encourage such weird behaviour just shows how brain dead a species they are.

Their definition of mod is somewhat different than GOT's definition.
