This Gerrard thing and his return for panto season is a magnifying glass on what must be one of the most shameless narcissists in football. Klopp would be very naïve to extend his hand further than offering Gerrard a training base during the MLS close season till mid Jan. Obviously Gerrards pester power has already encompassed the media and it will be interesting to see if any snowball effect increases the pressure on Klopp to take him on board in some capacity, especially given how reference has been made to Gerrards relationship with Werner over in the States. Im imagining a twist however, especially given Gerrard's whinge fest in his book after he left which even brain addled kopites tutted about. I cant even stretch my imagination to see Gerrard even being part of any training/management set up that could ostensibly win the league as the overriding factor to him and his ego would be that, it would showcase once again, that he didn't. Or is that playing into others' hands, as in that's what they want - a sterile Kop - so people can look at the pitch and take their photos...?
