In a rumoured forthcoming autobiography, Gerrard speaks quite openly about his move to LA and escaping the pressures of Anfield. The working title of said book is rumoured to be 'How I gave Liverpool the slip'.

....I wonder if it contains that picture of him in an Everton kit with the cups. Actually the only time he got his hands on a league winners trophy.

From the Official L.A.Galaxy Website - comments after the Gerrard speculative articles......

cut him loose. he's a lame duck.

Step it up Stevie, you're not retired just yet

Wait - seriously? Didn't know about heat, humidity, altitude, and turf? How freaking much was he paid to show up that breathtakingly unprepared for a new job?
Go. Home. I'm sure there's a nice coaching job for you back in Liverpool.

Once MLS handed him however many million dollars they threw at his feet, he lost all incentives to care about details like the weather, state of the pitch, or even basic conditioning. For all intents and purposes, he's a BT Sport pundit who moonlights as a part-time footballer.

So weird how these guys were smashing teams then went flat... Who knows who will still be part of the team in 6 months, specially who will still be standing at the end of 2016...? Think Gerrard will produce more next round? I'm not sure...

i wish 2015 was Gerrard's last season with LA

Center back pairing looked sub-par all season. OG hasn't been the same since his solid World Cup showing. In front of them - Juni and Gerrard looked out classes against many of the Galaxy's late season opponents. Too slow, with little defensive support. And Stevie G ain't gonna be a box-2-box mid at 38, or however old he is. Time to go shopping.

Here.. We Go Again

If Stevie G's legs can't deal with the massive strain of sitting on comfortable planes and coaches for an extended period how is he going to deal with LFCs exciting 90 minute (unless they're on the attack, then it carries on) running around show?

He's got DVT - Deep Vain something or other...

And this is a MOD on RAWK defending a 20 year old man who has only moved to Liverpool the year before after he was convicted of abusing a 60 year old man who had been going the match for 40 years

Why do we expect anything else of RAWK's posters when their mods are as thick as this idiot.

Don't forget, their big thing at the moment is these stupid banners. Actually wanting to see the pitch and watch the match you've paid a fortune for is, apparently, verboten. Disabled? No excuses! Don't even get them started on anyone taking a photo...

Did anyone else see the balloonhead on RAWK who was telling the story of his mate, who went to a game at a European ground while he was over there, only to have his camera knocked from his hand by some troglodyte who snapped 'Not here, tourist!!' at him. Now, instead of telling the guy to [Poor language removed] off, or at least moving away, as any normal person would, he 'respected' their traditions, and after talking the the guy ('a great fella') at half-time, came back with tales of how that's the way fans should be. And yes, you've guessed it, after the match they 'went for a bevy'. Of course. the language of international uber-scousers.

the suggestion was that if anyone on the Kop saw someone taking a photograph during a game, they should 'explain' how that terrace has a tradition of vocal support, and that they should move to another part of the ground where they might be welcome. And actually ended that with saying 'No hard feelings'.

I don't often use the word 'unbelievable' and truly mean it, but sometimes...

wouldn't expect anything less, they really are a bunch of helmets

Tonight could be one of the lowest ever for any English club in Europe and I'm not joking.

The Bordeaux game was possibly the worst showing for many years considering the ease of place to get to, the timing and area etc, it was appalling. Less than 200 wasn't it??
