No mate, class and dignity.........

Have a geg over on rawk and they reckon it's disgusting that this violent, aggressive bully who used his size to intimidate a man and his disabled wife has been banned from the match! They are beyond parody of themselves

The old story went that after their match up at Celtic (think it was post Hillsborough) Aldridge allegedly had a bust up with his Missus and Marina Dalglish took her part and told him to leave her alone...this was off the internet old RAWK...

neilem:
Seen this in some World Soccernet post (it's not my post, and I can't mind the authors name either).
John Aldridge has revealed the extraordinary power behind the throne during Kenny Dalglish's reign as Liverpool boss.Dalglish's wife Marina was the woman he feared, according to Aldridge's new book, John Aldridge - My Story, published last week.
It was rumoured Peter Beardsley had to leave the club because his wife fell out with Mrs Dalglish.
Now Aldridge has revealed worries that Marina Dalglish could have been instrumental in his move from Liverpool to Real Sociedad in 1989. In a passage in the new book, Aldridge relates how he and wife Joan were having a public row after a friendly against Celtic, which Aldridge puts down to stress of coping with the Hillsborough disaster.
Aldridge writes:
'Marina intervened and said: "Leave Joan alone. We're all suffering, not just you". "F Off, Marina. It's none of your f 'in business", I replied. "Leave me alone".
'The next day, when we were leaving on the coach to go back to Liverpool, Kenny came up to me. ' "My wife isn't happy with you, Aldo", Kenny said. "She said you told her to f off". ' "Yes I did, Kenny. She involved herself in something that had nothing to do with her. But fair enough maybe I used words which were too harsh. I'll apologise". So when I saw Marina I told her I was sorry.' ' "You're all right, John. There's no problem", she replied. "But you won't be here much longer. You've probably played your last game for Liverpool". She chuckled.
'Her words planted seeds of doubt in my mind. They were probably meant as a joke yet I couldn't help thinking she meant them. A year or so later, when I played for Real Sociedad against Liverpool in Kenny's testimonial, Marina came up to me at Anfield. "See, I was right", she said laughing. "I did say you had played your last game for Liverpool".
'She wasn't completely right because I did play a few more games for Liverpool, but she was pretty close. My Anfield days were numbered. Perhaps after those words with Marina, Kenny really did hold it against me; perhaps it was just a coincidence.
'Maybe one day Kenny will sit down with me and reveal the truth.'[/list]

no john, they sold you because you were sh*t, deal with it.

Klopp might regret asking him back, if he has a bad season Stevie will be ready to slip the knife in ( pun intended ) and annoint himself as manager.
