Being John Kopitovich

Ross Scheit is an unemployed DJ in a forlorn marriage with his Phil Collins-obsessed Norwegian born wife Lotte. Gaining a file clerk job through Dr.Funn at the ancient Redcorp Stadium, in a strange high-ceiling office in a suburb of Liverpool, he develops an attraction to his co-worker Maxine, who does not return his affections. Ross discovers a small door behind a filing cabinet which he enters, finding himself in the mind of Stevie Gerrard, a footballer & fellow Redcorp employee; able to observe and sense whatever Gerrard does for ninety minutes before he is ejected and dropped into a ditch near the River Mersey. Ross reveals the portal to Maxine and they decide to let others observe it for £800 a season.

Ross tells Lotte, who becomes obsessed with the experience, allowing her to live out her desires & she invites many of her childhood friends to observe. Lotte also becomes attracted to "Gerrard" and has sexual intercourse with him in the Redcorp Stadium toilets. Ross, now forsaken by both women, locks up Lotte in a Liverpool flat. Drawing on his DJ experience, Ross discovers that he is able to control Gerrard's musical choices while in his head, causing the footballer to become paranoid & father fixated causing him to chase older men who wear black & blow whistles. After consulting with his friend Charlie "Sheeny Head" Adam, Gerrard trails Maxine to the Redcorp Stadium building, where he finds and tries the portal and is placed in a world where everyone looks & talks like him and can only say "This is our Year"; he meets Ross by the turnstiles, and angrily demands that the music in his head stop - threatening to smash his head in, to which Ross refuses.

Gerrard gets divorced & then married to Maxine and learns that she is pregnant (but not by him!), and their relationship grows distant. Gerrard's 34th birthday approaches so Dr. Funn and his friends cut a deal with Maxine and fake a kidnapping by Chelsea...

It was Rahim, got a lethal shot on him I hear.

So now they have the best midfield in the premiership again, why do they hype their stars so much, hope this new loan player they have is a let down.

being a bit generous mate. dont think brazil will rate lucas as their star. same with wales and allen. gerrard use to be star, but never really produced it on the international stage as well. your point is so right though, they are the most deloodid fans in the world, the kind of people who rate suarez an 86 and fellaini a 79 on FIFA...hmmm

I hope Sahin is a revelation, the best midfielder in the league this season.... watching him go back to Real Madrid because they dont have an option to buy him at the end of the loan will be hilarious.

Just reading on RAWK, one guy is claiming a "source" told him the starting lineup. Those ****ing morons will believe literally anything.

Are these people self-aware at all? Even if there was any chance it was real (and there isn't), why post it on the internet? Nobody at City can use Google to find the starting lineup? I'm almost certain Mario Balotelli googles himself regularly.
