ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Gerrard know's damn well the clubs position, likely a one year extension on a reduced rate. His attempt to put pressure on them using the media to get what he wants is pathetic.
Can't wait to see Rodgers attempts to swerve the flak if he does go somewhere else

Who at the top level would even want Stevie G now?

Even if Liverpool offer him less money for a new contract he should take it. No one higher than them are going to want him. They'll want someone younger with more upside

Gerrard can only have 2 seasons left in him now you'd have to think?
Stoke

Imagine, if you will, you're the manager of a Premier League team - you've played 24 games and you have accumulated 18 points. Do you think you'd still be in a job with a record of W 3 D 9 L 12 ?

No, and neither do I - and, if you substitute Wins for Hit, Draws for Undecided and Losses for Miss that's the verdict of the Guardian on Bodger's 24 signings so far at Anfield - even allowing for having stemmed the flow of "losses" and now on a run of "draws" it clearly isn't good enough after more than £215M worth of spending:

Footnote: I think the reporter has been pretty generous in some cases with the assessment.

There was no-one in hopsital on the 27th

Was just about to post that when I've read back and seen your post. I appreciate its obviously it's a lie but why do they feel the need ? I bow to no man in my hatred for them but even I wouldn't particularly laugh if the old bill give them an unprovoked hiding I would suggest though that as Evertonian's we'd know who was in hospital rather than them . Impressive that they've beaten the media to the story as well.

Lies , again

That last 24 games. Is that his record over them?

edit. Cant be. They have won 4 this season. Confused me.

The thing is his 'hits' all have serious issues. Joe Allen never looks a £15m player, Coutinho is massively inconsistent and is horrid when not in form, and Sturridge while extremely good is a perennial sicknote. There can be the case made that he hasn't made one single exceptional signing, which is absolutely shocking considering the amount of money involved. A monkey with a FIFA 14 disc and a handful of its own poo would have done better.
