Rodgers' career defined in two sentences:

Got lucky inheriting Martinez's method and organisation at Swansea.
Got lucky inheriting Suarez at Liverpool.

Stripped of all the nonsense, that's it.

A man in the right place at the right time. But now he has to do it himself and he's sinking like a house brick in the deep end.

Hang on where's the 900 page dossier fit in?

Ha?....

Ha?......

Not so smart know ha Brenda

Knives will be sharpening against Brenda...no doubt about it.

Prem fixtures have been kind to him so far.

He'll see out the season...how much are the Yanks 2 going to give him in January with his abysmal transfer record?

It really is pretty miserable. He sits there in the press room allowing them to rip Mario to shreds over a shirt swap. Luis Suarez was allowed bite and racially abuse someone and he got t-shirts made for him. I'm starting a "Free Mario" campaign.

I laugh when he talks about balotellis "potential"

Balotelli - 3 Italian league winners medals: 1 PL winners medal; 1 CL winners medal
Rodgers - zip, nowt, nothing, nada, not a sausage

Big Mario must be pissing himself.

he cost £12 and has an amazing scoring record - a scoring record you'd expect from a £25m man, it wouldn't be an issue if liverpool hadn't have spunked £150m up the wall. if they could get a player the calibre of eto'o in to share the burden instead of balotelli and lambert for £20m, he wouldn't be missed anywhere near as much or need to be used as much.

Yes, but that was with The Rat making life easier for him.

Let's see his he does without his lightning rod.

Dave, you have excelled yourself there, pal

May I have permission to copy and paste that post on another board?

and yet it's not the ballotelli show apparently

I think there's a 3rd sentence Dave.

Got lucky picking up the post it notes that Mourinho chucked away, that gave him the foundation for his brazen baseless and totally devoid of any substance - persona

He's a creation of his own making, only unlike his original mentor, he's not got the talent to match the brazen self affirmation.

They've finally twigged him, last night was a turning point. They're now openly calling him out. A poor performance and anything less than a win on Saturday and the initial murmurings will become an audible grumble........

cant see him going this season, he'll live of his 'brilliance' last season that will carry him into xmas 2015 before he gets the shove

I thought that until recently.

Halfway through next season he'll get the chop.

But now I reckon they will have a new boss when next season starts.

Knives are already sharpening for Brenda...they get smacked again against Real and writing is on the wall

Going off tonight I reckon they'll bring in Origi in January and get rid of Balotelli.

He wasn't that good like, but he would offer what they actually need in a striker.

You can tell they just got Balotelli in for the sake of bringing in a big name player to satisfy the Legion of Bulbs, and didn't consider how he'd fit into the playing style at all.
