I mean, Brian Clough won two European Cups by assembling a team of youngsters and journeymen. He maximised their positives and hid their negatives. That's what football management is all about
Raheem Sterling doesn't need to be World Class, he just needs to be played in the right formation and he can be useful to a side
He's still very young and has plenty of time to pick up the extra bits he needs
Will he ever be World Class? It's probably too early to tell. Probably not, but he's certainly going to have a decent top level career if he isn't run into the ground at a young age like other players in his situation have been
Brent's press conference:
"I am quite relaxed. We will look where we are after ten games. If Phil Jagielka does not score a worldie in the last minute when we play Everton then we are two points better off and in the top four."
He really is one of 'em isn't he?
Make your mind up lol
"He is back in a secure enviroment"
lollollol
World class players can do more things than simply run very fast
Ha yeah....Rodgers getting the overhead projector and the whiteboards and marker pens out and underscoring the fact that he doesn't know his arse from his elbow. Keep it up, soft lad.....and no doubt he will as he cant keep his trap shut. He's an utter shambles.
Hodgson must be standing back pissing himself laughing at that nobhead - every comment he makes is another spade full from the hole he's digging.
Hat's off to Woy.
Went onto RAWK to see what their comments were on Sterling and tried to find their thread for him - but they seem to have banned player threads because of too much infighting.

Have a look back through the site's history and the number of threads that are locked is tiny
I honestly thought you were taking the mick.....but then I followed the link you left in your other post ans saw this.....

1. Yes. Losing gives you 0 points, 1 less than 1. Losing a Par 1 means you drop 1 points.
2. No. Drawing gives you 1 point, exactly what is expected from a Par 1. You neither drop or gain any points.
3. Drawing gives you 1 point, 2 less than 3. You drop 2 points.
4. Losing gives you 0 points, 3 less than 3. You drop 3 points

Thanks for this. That makes sense.
How do you gain points?

One of the buggers responds to that fruitcake analysis by saying it "makes sense"
lollollol
They are just barking mad over there.
I love Mourinho more for that. Not having it that he isn't a top 3 manager in the world.Jose got a bit of a bore last season, but he doesnt half hate the RS
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-clowns-at-Anfield-we-werent-having-that.html
“I felt during part of last season that the country wanted Liverpool to be champion,” he starts out. “The media, the press: a lot was to put Liverpool there. Nobody was saying they were in a privileged situation because they didn’t play Champions League. Nobody was speaking about a lot, a lot of decisions that helped them win important and crucial points. And I felt that day was a day that was ready for their celebration."
“I used the word with my players. I said – we are going to be the clowns, they want us to be the clowns in the circus. The circus is here.Liverpool are to be champions.”
I interject: “You weren’t having that, were you?”
